After reading the reviews for Planet Glass, here is what you will notice. If everything went perfectly, customers gave 5 stars because the finished product looks great. But, the rest all gave 1 star because something went wrong and Planet Glass did not handle it well. This was my experience as well.From the beginning of the install, it wasn't hard to figure out that Plant Glass measured incorrectly for my glass shower enclosure. The technicians struggled to make the glass door fit because it was bottomed out in the two hinges they installed; there was almost no room for adjustment. Within the first month, after things settled or the top hinge slipped, the glass was hitting and would not close all the way. They fixed this, then it happened again, and they fixed it again. It seemed like they were content fixing my shower every few months until my one year warranty ran out. I was not ok with this.I met with Nicole, Vinny, and DJ at their shop in Columbia and I suggested a more long-term solution. They needed to replace the glass with a piece that was measured and cut to the right size before my warranty ran out. Further, I am not a glass door expert, but it seemed obvious that my door was too heavy for just two hinges, so I suggested adding a third hinge to a new glass door. Want to know what happened next? They ghosted me until my warranty ran out.I have called a few times since (I talked to Rebecca and Tory, I think) to give them the benefit of the doubt. Each time I ask for a manager or owner (who is never available), spend about 30 minutes on the phone giving all of the details again, and never get a call back.Planet Glass made a mistake and measured my glass door too big (it happens), but they won't own their mistakes and make it right.If you hire them and everything goes perfectly, you're lucky. If you hire them a something doesn't go right, they will probably ignore you until your warranty runs out. That's what they have done to me.Shame on you Planet Glass for treating customers like crap.
Calvin & Zane came out on a Friday to install our glass shower door. I was downstairs working and next thing I know they are putting the finishing touches on it already. Not only were they efficient but also very knowledgeable, as they were able to give us some insight on the door itself and maintenance, which we will surely reference in the future. It looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Planet Glass for the win ??
If you’re looking for glass shower doors Planet Glass is your place! After two other quotes one we received after calling a week later and another we’re still waiting on (1 month) these guys gave me a quote by phone within 30 minutes! It did not change after they came to measure and they placed the order while at my house. He has an eye for details too none of the others did. Highly recommend Calvin and his marvelous team.

Working with Planet Glass was so easy! From the start, Calvin was so helpful in helping me determine what kind of shower door I would need, giving recommendations, asking questions, providing quick information, options, and responses. Once we had our initial conversation, Calvin came out and took measurements and looked at the area - they placed the order and about 2 week later I received the call that they were ready for install. DJ and Jeremy came out to install the next morning. They did an amazing job and it looks beautiful. Everyone I worked with at Planet Glass was professional, timely, and super helpful! I will be using them again in the future and would recommend to any of my friends/family!
