First, I must submit that I have never given a contractor a bad review. For me to do so is a hard thing because I do not like providing disparaging remarks about any business. However, in the interests of giving a heads up to future prospective consumers about a scam, I will do so.Back in late 2025, I put in a contract for 3 impact windows with New South. They came in and gave the usual idiotic presentation that all companies do, claiming the quality of their product and installations. I was given a price that was actually pretty good in comparison to other companies. So, I signed the contract. About a day later I get a call from someone in the company stating that there was a mistake in the estimate, and that the install would cost about another $2000. I told them I wanted to cancel the contract and move on to another company. The next day a New South manager calls and says they will honor the original contract. I agreed on that basis. The installation proceeded about 4 weeks later. After the installation, I called to complain that the windows were extremely difficult to open and close and that the caulking job was messy and unprofessional. They said they would send someone out to correct the situation. No one ever showed up. About a week later, the county inspector shows up to sign off on the work. He told me the windows were not the ones listed on the paperwork and that he could not sign off on the job unless the situation was corrected. He too agreed the widows were too tight and should be corrected. It has now been about 4 months since the install. I have not heard back from New South. I called the company many times. Each time, using different company phone numbers. No one ever answered. I called the sales person directly and informed him of the situation. He was unable to get through either.
This is about NewSouth Window Solutions, which was acquired by Window Nation last year. In December, I ordered a door that opens into a carport. Several weeks later, my wife was diagnosed with a serious medical condition that will ultimately require a high level of home care. Our granddaughter offered to move in with us to help me with that care. We decided to convert our carport to a bedroom to accommodate our granddaughter. It will probably require a different door and new windows. I called and emailed the local Fort Lauderdale manager seven times to cancel the door order. Also called their corporate office in Tampa. It took three weeks for anyone to respond, with an “unwilling to change the order” response. I then sent a letter to the president of NewSouth. As of today, still no response. I give their customer service a big zero.Updated 3/5/26: The company responded and asked me to call them to resolve the issue. Called twice and left message. Still no response.
I was extremely happy with the installation team, led by Leo Kl crew. He was professional and he knows his craft. He answered questions and addressed any concerns I had. The installation itself was done timely and they did a wonderful clean up after the work was completed each day. I hope if you are thinking about choosing New South Windows you will be lucky enough to get Leo Kl crew to do the installation.
I purchased all new impact windows in 2019 and I thought it’s time for re-chaulking. So I called them out of the blue and they said they will be here in 20 mins. I couldn’t even find my contract from 2019. They looked up my purchase record by calling the office. In 5 mins they are up on the ladder getting to work already!! This is the type of quality service we don’t see often anymore. I asked to re-chalk and re-seal one window and they did all of them without me requesting! There were some concrete chipped away that are not close to the window seals but they patched them up for me anyway!!They answered my calls. They are responsive.Same day service.Arrived 20 mins after my very first phone call.Get started immediately. No contract. No problem. No delays or hassles!!Go above and beyond!!I’d give then a million stars!! They are faster than 911, EMS or Uber!! Their quality is top notch!! Their service is out of this world- simply the best!!I highly recommend them!! I’m so glad that I did my research back in 2019 and I didn’t pay the cheapest on the windows but the peace of mind is really priceless!!
We just had 4 windows and a slider installed. Leo KL crew were awesome. They did quality work and were quick, clean and professional.
