I purchased two new Pella windows at a total cost of $6600 in 2022. Since installation I have requested service two times as the windows are still leaking. You can stand in front of one of the sections and feel the breeze. When i heard from the officer after their visit I was told there would be a $180 service charge. Clearly defective windows if they can’t maintain a good seal. The previous visit was handled by the company as a part of warranty. I wasn’t notified they would be charging this trip to come check and repair any deficiency. 100% would not recommend for product or customer service. Google doesn’t allow zero stars or that would have been selected.
Living in East Peoria, IL, we worked with sales rep Eric Sihrer, and I previously left a review (under Pella Windows and Doors Showroom of Peoria, IL) of the stellar sales experience. But the actual installations had not been done at that time, so this is a follow-up. Installations of two fiberglass Impervia sliding doors and one vinyl Series 250 window were completed in early December, 2025. The originally scheduled local installer fell ill, and Pella brought in a team from Davenport the following week. Lucas, Ethan, and Tim were highly competent, focused on the job, and courteous. A competitor who quoted the same doors believed they would need to cut the concrete block wall of our lower level walkout - which would have meant additional expense, time, noise, and mess (concrete dust). The Pella Team knew it would be close, but had confirmed beforehand that the door would fit the existing space. We'll be looking at replacing some windows in 2026, and will be turning to Pella again.
Our condo had two patio openings on the main floor. One was original and was a French door opening. The other was a former owner installed in the main bedroom. Both were poorly insulated and poorly designed for the areas they served. Austin was very helpful and forthright for the best choices. The Pella windows were installed in the best weather and were done in one day. We are very happy with choices.
I just had my windows installed, I just needed a new living room window since the previous Home owner did not replace that one.I did shop around, the previous window was an Andersen - But the sales pressure and the harassing phone calls was too much!I decided to go with Pella, And I’m incredibly happy that I did! Austin was fantastic, he knew the products, he looked at other things that I was thinking about in the house of replacing, gave me some great ideas. He could’ve done the run of the mill sales pitch, but it was so much more than that and you could see the passion that he had in the product he was selling! I would strongly recommend looking into doing business with Pella.The install was seamless, Brian and his Coworker, (cannot remember his name) were wonderful, respectful, and made sure that everything was perfect down to the very smallest details. They were thorough, efficient, and I am so pleased with the outcome.I am definitely paying for the quality, but I felt that it was reasonable, service was impeccable, And I am confident these windows will last for a very, very long time!Please, at least consider this business, they made the process easy.
