Our representative Scott was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our questions with crystal clarity. He was a great communicator and did a fabulous job explaining all aspects of our window replacement project. In the end we decided to go with Champion for our project. We picked Champion over other competitors because of their high quality windows that are extremely energy efficient. The warranty is not many pages of legal jargon like other window companies, consisting of 1 page that is clear and easy to understand. Another reason we went with Champion is because you will be dealing with one company for everything: sales, manufacturer, installation.
Pros: high quality product installed very well by Justin who was very professional. We are very happy with the final product. Cons: expensive, no communication or estimates between contract and beginning of install that took a while. During build communications were carried out by installer instead of manager. Barrage of notifications demanding final payment prior to project completion.
Siarhei installed my 3 windows. He was 30 minutes early and blocked our driveway with his truck. This was awkward becuase we were still taking down the blinds and taking our kid to school. I wasn't sure if I could leave the mounting brackets for my blinds up, but our installer said he would out them back. At the end of the install he said it was too sticky and wait 24 hours to put them back up, which doesn't work for us for the windows in the bedrooms thst had just been replaced. Not thrilled about that.A couple hours into the install an "inspector" (Matt) showed up to look at the project. This sales rep spent more time trying to get me to buy more windows right then than anything else. Once I said I wasn't going to spend another $7800 on 4 windows he was back in his Tesla in less than 5 minutes.Window quality appears fine. The weep holes still had the burrs in them from when they were cut in the factory. That caulking job on the last window has a pretty significant drop in quality compared to the two prior (see attached photos). The windows themselves do take a good amount of effort to open and one of the screens doesn't feel like it clicks entirely back into place when you left it up, but that may be due to the plastic burrs from the weep hole.
Super experience with Champion Windows and Home Exteriors, from start to finish. The wonderful sales person, Johnny - who came to my home prepared, was knowledgeable (and not at all high pressure), to the top notch install team, Siahrei and Crew. This is a professional company to do business with, making sure that everything is perfect and that you are 100% satisfied with the products and work, before they go. I LOVE the new modern doors but the Bay and Garden windows, FILL my heart with delight! Highly recommend. ?
Overall I have been very pleased with my experience with Champion from first contact through installation.Paco and his team did a great job. They were quick, efficient, and professional. Everything looks great and they left my home cleaner than when they arrived. They installed 11 large windows in about 5 hours. ?? ??Johnny, my sales rep, was also great. He was pleasant, he told me what I needed to know, and didn't try to force me to make a purchase. My window for delivery was 8-14 weeks due to 3 custom windows they needed to make. I received the call that my windows had arrived at right around 7 weeks and they came and installed them 2 days later.I used a decibel meter before and after installation, and ambient noise went from 43dB down to 30dB.
