I got a few different quotes before deciding to go with Pella. Their quote for the exact same door and specifications as a competitor was almost half the price as my other quotes and they had a faster install timeline. My sales agent, Filomena, was super responsive and easy to work with. It was a no brainer! The door was installed on time and it only took half a day. The installers were very professional, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. I will use Pella to replace another exterior door in 2024.
Our experience with Pella was smoother than we could ever imagine. Our salesperson, Filomena, was fantastic with listening to our specific requirements as well as explaining every detailed step of the process to us. She was there at the beginning, mid-way, and completion of the install to be sure we were totally satisfied. Beyond that, she quickly returned our calls and/or texts when we had concerns during the process. Our installers, Kyle and Seth, were so diligent and careful during the removal of the existing patio and sliding doors as well as with the installation of the new Pella products. Our existing trim was removed carefully, our surrounding wallpaper was undamaged, and when we requested some special trim work at the bottom of the doors, Kyle's skill and workmanship became very obvious. Regarding the painting that was necessary around the new doors, Seth was meticulously neat and particular both on the exterior as well as the interior. These three individuals clearly have expertise in their domains and deserve acknowledgement and are a credit to Pella.
We bought a house built in 1988 that had 4 panel French doors looking out of the kitchen onto the deck out to the pool and back yard. The view was stunning and a big reason we bought the house. That being said, the doors had no screens, were made before UV shield glass was standard and French doors take up a lot of operational space. After trying to get local providers involved without luck, we contact Filomena Menezes at Pella. Within a week she was out to the house to discuss our needs. The following week we were being measured and options discussed. This took place in February. In June we got the call that our order was ready, being shipped and would be installed. This sliding door, four panels with the two outside panels being fixed and the middle two sliding out, was over 100” wide and hence, custom. After much wondering about the integrity of both the sill and the header, no issues arose. The team were on site for two full days to prep the opening, assemble the door, place the door into the opening and do the finish carpentry. The results are stunning and we are extremely pleased with product, installation and process. Highly recommended.
