I regret using this company. Champion window lied about being a certified energy sufficient company. The salesman Rich lied to my face and said the windows and door was certified energy sufficient and I could transfer the warranty to my son. I gave him all the information. Tax time and of course I could not get a tax write off because of this company. Thd installers were wonderful. Im just happy that I didn't get all my windows done from this company. Still having problems with the storm door.
Tyler DelPriore was the salesman for Champion Windows that sold us 12 new windows. We were quite nervous about replacing all of our windows. Worried about labor, quality and of course pricing. Tyler was so easy to talk to and prepared with all necessary information with literature and data to back up all he told us regarding Champion Windows. Every question we asked he was prepared and had an answer. We ended up purchasing Champion it was a no brainer. The warranty, quality, and stability of this company was the selling point. Tyler was not only a good salesman he was a real and genuine gentleman that was a real joy to do business with. We are looking forward to our energy efficient Champion windows!
I regret using Champion.My salesperson Tyler might have known about the windows but apparently knew little about installation. Being replacement windows, I expressed concern, more than once during the appointment, about how much of my windowsill depth I would lose. I was assured, again, more than once, I would lose approximately 1 inch. Completely false as you can see from the before and after pictures. From nearly 6 inches to room for a 2-tablespoon measuring cup. Same result for two kitchen replacements. I believed the pitch about the high quality of the windows and experienced quality installation, etc. I was very disappointed they used peel and stick trim that didn't match the oak color frames I chose. Very sticky clear caulk also used was left oozing out several places, trim didn't meet at the corners and some places wasn't adhered to the frame at all. Poor workmanship. They did come back, with a $100 gift card “for my trouble”, and replace the trim (thank you Kyle, you deserve a raise) but given my end results I regret using Champion every time I walk into my kitchen. I was misinformed about my windowsills and they're gone forever. I expressed my displeasure (especially given the stupid, my bad, amount of money I paid this company) about my end result and was told I would hear from a regional manager. Never happened of course. I wasn't going to do any review because I'm embarrassed about how suckered out of my hard-earned money I feel (at age 65 I should have gotten more estimates and done more research) but they keep reminding me to review my experience, so this is it.
Tyler came out and gave us his presentation and was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time and answered all of our questions. he put both of us at ease immediately, and when we made the decision to but, he bent over backwards to get us the price and financing that we needed.
