Customer feedback highlights efficient crews, timely installations, and noticeable improvements in home comfort for many projects. Several reviewers appreciated professional communication and quick measurement-to-install timelines. Critical reviews point to instances of installation defects, fit and finish concerns, and frustrations with follow-up or phone interactions. Experiences appear mixed, with workmanship and responsiveness as the main themes.

We were quoted for installation in mid-2025. The installation was delayed due to windows being back ordered, and the install day was pushed further “because an integral tool was broken.” The install team arrived on time in late November 2025. We had a total of 4 windows due to be replaced.

First window replaced was upstairs in a bedroom. Once installed & secured per the installation team I went into the room and look at the window. After gently pushing on the base of the window it pushed out of the rough opening that still had the interior trim in place - hard stop. Grabbed the install guy who reviewed it stating it shouldn’t move that way. Obviously. They corrected it. I called the shop & explained the concern with their office staff who sent Jeremy (co-owner out). By the time Jeremy arrived the window was already corrected. Jeremy stated that the foam has an adhesive that secured the window in place. I may not be an installer, but I don’t believe securing the window with foam is the answer.

Next window installed upstairs. Same install guy says “don’t put all of your weight on the window.” I gently checked the window - no issues.

Fast forward. Three of the four windows installed face the west where the prevailing wind blows with two of these windows in our master bedroom. The room has been SIGNIFICANTLY colder. I checked the windows on a windy day and boom - problem found. There was wind coming from AROUND the window! The sealant around the window was also coming apart after less than a week. I sent an email explaining the concern & specifically requested someone to come out.

Jeremy arrived on time and I was not present. My wife let Jeremy in the home who ultimately explained that the “walls are colder than the windows…normal convection of air.” Bullshit.

After being filled in on the details of the conversation I again emailed the team refusing to sign off on the project. Included were photos & videos demonstrating the issues. They have continued to refuse to address the issue & provide a reasonable fix to the improperly sealed windows.

You view for yourself and make your own decision, but I absolutely would not use Window World of Fort Wayne for any work. Google will not allow me to post videos clearly demonstrating wind blowing around the window so I posted a couple screenshots.

AVOID WINDOW WORLD OF FORT WAYNE.

I just had my windows done by Window World of Fort Wayne

I wanted to share my appreciation for the recent window installation at my home, here in Garrett, IN.

There crew handled the measurements and installation efficiently, and the results look great. The team was professional, courteous, and completed the job in a timely manner.

I ordered 7 windows, and the difference in my home is noticeable. The quality of both the product and service makes it clear I made the right choice.

Window world will be doing my next project of replacing my garage windows. I’ll continue to be a Window World customer moving forward.

We chose Window World because of the ease in washing the windows from inside just by lowering each window casing and popping it right back into place. Started in this fall doing the same thing and the window I was working on would not budge. Jeremy came and said it had nothing to do with me .... the screws were broke so they will be back to fix that window and check all the others to make sure that they are in good repair. A very professional and friendly employee..... Window World chose well in hiring him.

Horrible experience thought these windows were great. Wasn’t even a year later started to fall apart. I have numerous bugs in my house. You can clearly see, the windows are defective and crappy install. Don’t use this place. I’m going to have to take these people to court to recoup the money it cost to pay real professionals to come out and do a proper job. The lady Jamie on the phone is very rude unprofessional. I advise you take your money elsewhere.

Joseph Snyder on Window World of Fort Wayne

We had all of our windows replaced by Window World. While the windows themselves are good quality, the installation was very unprofessional. Fortunately, I had taken off work to be there while the work was being performed because the first windows were crooked and not level. I had to mention it to the installers and stay on them to make sure they were corrected. After the first window was finished on the inside, I decided to trim the rest myself. The quality of the work was very poor. Instead of replacing boards, they simply caulked a 3/4 inch gap and said it would be fine after it was painted. Also, after the snow had melted, we noticed all the scraps left outside each window that I had to clean up, along with the messy floors inside. The crew was nice enough, but I was very disappointed in spending several thousand dollars and still have to finish it myself. Would not recommend.
