Recent reviews highlight clear communication during estimates and product demonstrations, with staff taking time to answer questions. Homeowners frequently note punctual scheduling and installers who work neatly and keep them informed. Many mention noticeable improvements in comfort and noise reduction after replacing older windows. There is at least one report of a significant workmanship concern on another exterior project, contrasting with otherwise consistently positive window and door feedback.
Bruin was great to work with from the start. I felt very comfortable with how they talked me through the process and demoed the new windows for my replacements. I live on a busy/main street and noise reduction was a huge reason I needed to replace my single pane windows with Bruin's much thicker double panes. I had a lot of questions during the demonstration and Spencer was happy to answer them (or call his manager if he didn't know an answer). It took a while for the windows to be made but not as long as I was expecting. It only took a couple of days for the windows to be installed and the handyman onsite was very nice--I was able to ask him a few home maintenance questions while he worked. He was even kind enough to help me fix one of my door locks which only took him a couple of extra minutes.I've been very happy with my windows as I haven't felt any drafts from them during this chilly winter. With the weather warming up I'm excited to be able to easily open my windows (with just a pinky finger!) to let in the breeze instead of struggling to open my ancient windows (it was a process!). The windows are quite beautiful indeed!
Bruin did a great job installing a door and five new windows in our ongoing ~400 sq ft addition project. They had no problems working with our ongoing project. I framed the window openings, they advised on their preferred dimensions for the door frame, and the installation crew took it from there.I was worried about color-matching the existing windows. The Bruin estimator pulled out color chip samples, and using an existing window, we found the exact match. The door and windows are properly sealed and flashed -- one of the reasons why I handed this off to a professional.Once the drywall is up, Bruin will be back to install the interior finished woodwork -- another task I am happy to hand to a pro.
Spent $450,000+ with them just to hack stuff in, flood water in my walls, and flood my 1st floor and my finished basement all in separate occasions.I'll edit and add more photos later. Waiting for a response to the damages they caused. Not holding my breath....Water coming out from my siding. Plus much much more damageUpdate: these guys never put the underlayment (ice and water shield) over the drip edge under the shingles. Absolute code violation. I attached photos you can just see drip edge. This is why I have water running down every wall of my house. I talked to the Everlast state rep today, he told me to strip the walls and inspect for mold because this was done WRONG. Told me 2 years of this will more than likely cause extreme mold and rot. I give the same contact info to Bruin and they don't even call him. But instead they tell me they did talk to the Everlast rep. I'm going out on a limb but I have a feeling they talked to someone at thier supply house/vendor. That is not a MFG rep. The guys contact I gave you is the ONLY REP FOR MASS!!!Bruin has done NOTHING. Scott the owner is more worried financially than to get a crew out here and strip the walls and fix the entire $60k roof. I'm genuinely shocked he hasn't done this. They use all sub contractors so all he has to do is call his insurance and they handle all of it. But instead he dodges phone calls and send follow up email offering a "courtesy inspection, but by doing so Bruin does not admit to any wrongdoing"I'm physically showing you photos of the hack work. I'm physically showing you in the IRC the codes that aren't done and you won't do a thing!?!!? This speaks volumes about you as an owner.More pictures to come, Stay tuned
Our experience with Bruin was excellent. We had a total of 7 doors replaced, including our main front door as well as back slider. The quality of the doors was excellent. Mike did a good job working with us to help us define our needs. Bruin then told us the timeframe or early February, and then Keith did a good job scheduling the work; they did the work at exactly when they said they would. Lastly, Clayton and Wagener were very professional in terms of installation and cleanup. The doors look great, and happy that Bruin was able to meet our needs.
My experience with Bruin was excellent, from the informational phase to the end of construction. Mariotte and his installation team were friendly and knowledgeable. Mariotte kept me informed, and answered all of my questions. They exchanged my 50-year old windows for beautiful, well-insulated replacements. I could immediately feel the difference. No more drafts and hard to open windows! Clearly, they take pride in their work. I will be hiring this company again for future remodeling work.
