We had a wonderful experience with Dustin from Fletcher Homes when he came out to give us an estimate for our bathroom project. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to truly listen to all of our ideas. Dustin thoughtfully considered everything we wanted and helped create a plan that perfectly fits our vision and our needs. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about helping his customers bring their projects to life. We felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. We signed our deal that same day and cannot wait to start the process. We highly recommend Fletcher Homes and are so glad to now be part of the Fletcher family!
Great company to work with from start to finish! Our consultation with Brad was straightforward and detailed. He answered all our questions and was responsive all along. Our Foreman, Augustine, was kind, highly skilled, and got the job done so quickly and beautifully. We are thrilled with our new deck!
We had two appointments with Dwayne to plan and estimate our screened porch and paver patio project in Midlothian, VA. Dwayne was nothing short of exceptional through both appointments. He was accommodating, respectful of our time, provided valuable feedback, and did not push us towards things we did not want. Zero complaints! In finalizing our project, we were stuck between Fletcher and another builder. I worked with James at Fletcher to finalize a proposal as Dwayne was out of town. Within just a day’s time, James had ironed-out a proposal within our budget which met our requirements. James and his team won our business because they were prompt, reasonable, and communicative when it came down to it. We are paying a touch more for Fletcher over the competing builder but feel we will gain that value back in customer experience, build quality, and long-term peace of mind and confidence in our investment. We are looking forward to beginning our project in the next few days and I am glad we chose Fletcher Home.EDIT:Our project is complete! I have removed one "star" from my review. The good: the product is excellent. I was extraordinarily impressed with each of the Fletcher teams that did this work. The patio crew was skilled, efficient, and detailed. The porch/enclosure team was very detail-oriented and clearly had to work hard to make the structure work with the challenging slope of our existing concrete patio. The electrician, Sean, was very cooperative and took time to listen to what we wanted, where we wanted electrical ran, and nailed the layout exactly. Every team worked hard through a cold early December with rain and snow. Bravo to these guys across the board. They were also FAST but not at the expense of build quality. The bad: After this project was scheduled, our sales rep left the company and many details of our project were lost in the fallout. This was incredibly frustrating. We chose Fletcher and paid extra over competition for customer experience, and that was not delivered. Communication was poor. I was told by three individuals at Fletcher that our project was starting one day, only to be told the day-before that it had to be rescheduled. Even then, I was only told this because I had messaged them and asked. I had heard nothing. I had taken the day off work, planned to be there, and no one told me the project start was postponed. What gives? When the patio team showed up on day 1, they did not know where the patio was to go. I had to show them. Is this normal? When the electrical team showed up, they knew next-to-nothing of the electrical work to be done. I had to sit and explain this to them. If I hadn't also taken that day off of work, what would have been done? When the enclosure build was in progress, I had to inform the PM that we needed another gutter ran beneath the patio for proper drainage. This was supposedly captured in our quote/sale but was not properly relayed to the PM or build team. What if I had not been there? Would we have dug-up the patio to correct this?Prior to starting this project, Fletcher insisted that this would be a seamless, hands-off experience for us. In hindsight I am convinced numerous original requirements would have been dropped or overlooked if I had not been physically present for much of this work. That is not the product and experience we were sold, and that is disappointing.Credit to Chris Freeman and Tanner Cecil for clearly doing their best to remedy this situation while the project was already in-progress. While I do wish they had communicated more regularly, each of them clearly saw that some requirements had been dropped by Fletcher and they were genuinely trying to correct this. Big thanks to both of them, and they were a pleasure to work with.I would recommend Fletcher for this type of work. The physical product is great. But, that comes with an asterisk as our customer experience was not ideal.(First photo is AI-generated by us of what we were looking for)
Brian and Emily were so wonderful to work with. They made the whole experience seamless and easy. Not to mention the actual work is beautiful! We had two windows installed and our fireplace resurfaced. Turned out so good! Thanks, FXBG construction!
So here are a few pictures of what the Team of Fletcher Home did for me. First I would personally like to thank Gabe Smith for overseeing the process and step by step ensuring us along the way of the process. He kept us informed of the work and ensured that we were in the loop of everything going on with the day to day activities. Everything we asked for Gabe delivered in a timely manner and fostered a professional relationship with us. If you are looking to upgrade your deck or patio look no further than Fletcher Home and ask for Gabe!
