Installers arrived on time (7:30AM) & began work immediately. They were very neat & efficient. They actually spent more time cleaning up & washing the windows than installing. Excellent experience. I highly recommend this company.
We have used Roadrunner Glass twice in the past year and both times they were knowledgeable, quick, and do nice clean work. I would highly recommend them!
Bought a house in Fremont filled with single pane windows and decided to go with a local company to upgrade to dual pane windows. Found out this company is a minority FEMALE owned business. Went into “Newly Remodel” show room and was drawn to Milgard windows (Tuscany V400 series) with the lifetime warranty. The windows came within 2 weeks and installation was the following week. The house turned out great! Returned back and upgraded my shower to frameless shower. My glass looks crystal clear. Staff is highly knowledgeable in the field and office.
RRG has the most careless, rude and borderline incompetent employees in the Bay Area.I ordered 2 windows and a sliding door, back in September.- before placing the order they said it will take 2.5 weeks to deliver. After I placed the order the lead time became 4 weeks- installation time that was given to me was 2 weeks AFTER the products were delivered, and the company would not want to schedule it sooner, even if they had time slots available.- on the day of delivery they broke the sliding door frame on the way to my house. They only tied it with one strap which broke (???), and it broke when it fell off the truck.- the employee who called me to tell me about the issue was very rude, throwing multiple F bombs and then telling me it's my fault because I wanted the door delivered on that day (???)- on the week the second door was supposed to be delivered, they confirmed 3 times they had the door in their shop, until the day they actually had to deliver it, when they discovered (???) it had not been delivered from the factory (!!!)- from that point on they refused to take any more steps in delivering the door, and I had to arrange my own transport from Sacramento and negotiate with the factory directly to send me all the missing pieces.- the contractor I had to pay to fix RRG's incompetence confirmed it's not the first time they screw up customer orders.- Every time I tried to speak to RRG, they insisted that the cause of all the issues was my impatience, and that they do not appreciate customers who do not let them work in their own time and who expect updates on their order (???)Work with them at your own risk...
I have been meaning for years to replace some custom sized glass shelving. I called pre-pandemic and got pricing for the size I needed. Now that I am finally getting around to this, I was pleased to see this business still going strong, so I stopped in unannounced. The two people in the office were super friendly and helpful. Yes, they could cut the glass to match my shelf. I asked how long it would take, expecting probably a week's wait. The response, "about an hour." But since we were about an hour from closing time, it might not be ready until the next morning. I was surprised and delighted. I ran an errand and came back just before closing. The shelves were polished and ready and I got them same day. They even polished the edges of my original that had a few chips on the edge. Now they did tell me that timing cannot always happen. I lucked out to catch the crew between larger jobs, but I was so tickled to have this nagging task complete and so easy and quick.I definitely recommend this shop and will contact them again if I have glass needs.
