I ordered a custom door 3 months ago and it still hasn’t left the manufacturer’s warehouse!Our custom made door has been “completed for weeks” and it has still not shipped out to Lowe’s yet!So I give them plenty of time and call back a week and a half later and it’s still sitting there!There’s no excuse for such sorry service!Buyer beware, hope you’re not wanting any project completed in a timely manner…If so, find a different company!
Ordered $30,000 worth of windows and doors from them through Lowe’s.These windows are the absolute worst windows I have ever had in my life, they’re built poorly, seal isn’t good at all, bugs still come in through them with the window locked and shut, very low quality product.
I ordered custom Jeld-Wen windows for my home and I love them! I have ordered from Jeld-Wen before through Home Depot, and my custom windows were built in about 4-6 weeks. I like their product and they make quality windows. You can tell they are durable and heavy duty. The clarity is better than my other windows that are not Jeld-Wens. I will definitely keep buying from these guys
Horrible product. The lock broke multiple times and now handle broke off. I’ve had this sliding door 2 years! The locks broke repeatedly in the first 1-7 months of installation! Handle broke off after second year. Caulking around sliding door is coming off. Customer service is terrible. They never return left messages or emails sent to corporate. I literally had to contact Home Depot who I bought Jeldwen through to contact the main supervisor of Jeldwen to fix my locks because no one was responding to me or helping me at Jeld-Wen. When the handle broke, I went through the same runaround of no one wanted to help me. I left messages, emails and no one got back to me nor find my order. After spending days and hours of calling and being tossed around to different departments, I finally got someone to “find” my order. Three weeks later I finally receive replacement handles in the mail only to find that they sent screws which are way too small and don’t even go all the way through to catch the other handle! The reason why the first set of handles broke is because the screws were also too short, and we’re barely catching the handles, so they literally snapped off because they were barely threading into the second handles. Such a complete mess. The product is not safe. The product falls apart very easily. They do not care about customers they just want your money. I’m going to be reporting them to better business bureau. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first. Sad thing is is I was upgrading my sliding doors for cosmetic reasons because my other doors were 40 Years Old, and the sad part is I never had a problem with the locks or the handles with my old sliding door. I wish I never bought through this company, I have a product that is completely falling apart. You will have multiple problems if you purchase through this company and they will not care. Do your research. Don’t learn the hard way like we did.
Wish I had NOT used Jeld Wen. Customer Service is so slow. You should hire more people so that you can service your customer in a timely manner. Door leaked on April 10 2019, ruining my wood floor and lucky me you called today April 24, 2019 and you have time available to come and try to fix the problem on May 22, 2019. It is going to cost more to repair the floor then I paid for your door. Foolish me for spending $15,000 on Jeld Wen sliders. I though you had a good reputation, I should have read the reviews because they are all terrible.
