I am giving the two stars because the staff was very knowledgeable and provided great advice that I didn't even know I needed. I really appreciated their expertise though it felt like he was pushing for the sale.
However, the overall experience was not as positive. When I initially explained that I needed one door and one window by a specific date (which was 6 weeks away), I was told that it shouldn't be a problem even though they could not guarantee. Unfortunately, it became a series of delays and complications.

First, I had to wait 10 days just to receive my special door knob/lock so they could get the measurements to pierce the hole and they did not want to make the door in the meantime.
I had to go in the store with the door knob so they get all the information they needed for piercing. Then, after another whole week of wait, I was informed that there was not enough information and had to go back with the door knob. At that point, I decided to order the items without any holes pierced due to the time sensitivity. Despite all these efforts, the door and window arrived 2 weeks later than expected, causing a delay in my renovations and impacting the installation of my cabinets before Christmas.
Additionally, it was inconvenient that I had to pick up the items from a different location as they do not deliver if they do not do the installation.

To add to the disappointment, there was a tiny scuff at the bottom of the door, which I only noticed after bringing it home. I am unable to address this with the store because I cant prove it wasn't there before I transported it, and it left me feeling frustrated after paying $2000 for just one window and one door.

This experience has taught me to not make rushed decisions based on time sensitivity and to thoroughly inspect items before leaving the store. Next time, I will definitely consider other options before making a purchase and I will not be going back to Roberge portes et fenêtres for my future door and window replacements.

Really had to run after them to get the info I needed and wanted to replace a door lock. Had to go there twice and call them 3 times. Not exactly want i call a model of business efficiency. Still waiting for a copy of my invoice that I have requested and it's been a few weeks. Very frustrated with them right now. Too bad because their products are excellent

I really appreciate the care you took to maintain the original trim of the insides of all the windows, and your ability to find solutions to the vagaries of our old house. What a great experience! From Jonanthan’s hard work to come up with a deal that worked for me, to the trouble free professional installation team. I am extremely happy with the choice of Roberge for this important renovation of nine windows and a front door. I would encourage everyone looking into doors and windows to seriously consider them for the project.

The installation is going very smoothly. Jacques is amazingly efficient, professional and neat and he does top notch work. Installing 16 windows and two doors could have been very stressful but was easier than expected. The windows are beautiful , well made and substantial. Claude our sales rep was so nice to work with. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and made some very good suggestions to help us make well informed choices. Good value for an excellent quality and service . Thanks Roberge Gatineau !
