My experience with Greg and Hartmann Windows and Doors was excellent. Very polite, timely emails, making sure that "we" the customer are happy with what we want, giving us other options in case we didn't think about it or finding out the answers to our questions when he didn't know himself. We had a custom pivot door installed, and it looks and is exactly what we dreamed and expected. During the installation, they cleaned up after themselves, made sure the window in the door was clean. Even after the instillation was done, Greg came back for some small adjustments.
Winter 2023: Definitely recommended with zero reservations. Please know that this small business truly stands behind their work.After a few months since install, small gaps developed in the interior seals around the windows that were replaced. Looked like the caulking material shrank over time. Also a small gap opened up in the bathroom window between the vinyl frame areas. Nothing major but we wanted to have it looked at by Greg and his crew. And they were awesome. No questions asked, Tony came by soon after and repaired everything. It was easy to set up the return visit. They are great communicators and very friendly to work with.Summer 2022: Greg and his crew Tony and Evan did an amazing job with the install of 7 new windows in our bungalow. I had several window companies visit the house to provide quotes and got pretty confused from all the conflicting information and aggressive sales tactics. Through this process of obtaining quotes, I learned that often the estimator is not the same person as the installer, which sounded like it would leave more room for error. Greg was a breath of fresh air! He was honest about what he could and couldn't do, clearly answered my questions, and totally communicative about timelines and processes. The quote was reasonable, not the cheapest one, but we were happy to know that he would be coming by at some point to check the work himself. Not only were our windows ready and installed early, he spent the better part of a day working alongside his crew on the project. We are overjoyed. It feels like we are living in a new house. Original windows were from 1959 so this is a major upgrade we could not be happier. Definitely recommended.
