Great experience with this installation. My large front window was replaced in less than three hours with minimal exposure to the cold air outside. The installers were very considerate and experienced. From quote to measurement to installation this experience has been seamless with no surprises. The end product is beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have a worry free upgrade to their home.
The install and final product surpassed our expectations. There were a few hiccups along the way with scheduling due to weather and extreme cold but we were compensated for delay.The new door, not only looks good but we longer feel the drafts that were very common with our old door. The install was seamless and finish work was also very good.
Horrible experience with this company from start to finish. Communication was awful and windows were measured incorrectly from the start. Windows arrived damaged had to be re-ordered and one of the windows they did have was installed incorrectly and had to be re-ordered, once again causing delays. Screens had to be replaced, some of which we still have not received. Very careless and big lack of follow-through. Timelines were missed repeatedly, and no one seemed willing to take responsibility or provide real solutions.Customer service was awful. Instead of accountability, there was deflection and dismissiveness. Responses were ineffective and generally only seemed concerned about payment as opposed to the awful service they were providing and the inconvenience they caused. There was very little lack of concern on their end to make up for anything.Overall, this company demonstrates terrible customer service, poor management, and a lack of integrity. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for quality products or reliable service. Be prepared for promises of quick turn around and having it drag on for months and months with excuse after excuse…
I am posting the following review for Gwen and David MacDonald."On behalf of my wife and I, we sincerely thank Canadian Choice Windows and Doors for completing our large order and installation of windows in our home.We are very pleased with their Draftlock windows, as they are very well constructed and look absolutely amazing. It was a long process. The installers did a very professional job, great final trim work, and clean up.Just about a year in total, the initial vendor, Alweather Windows and doors went into bankruptcy, not long after we originally placed the order. We felt at loss for a long time, in that we have a very large deposit out there and wondered if we would see it again. I felt that I could no longer trust doing business with any contractors. But we never gave up hope, and decided to try to keep in touch with anyone from the old Alweather premises. Well, it paid off immensely. With the news that Canadian Choice was taking over, with its goal to first help out those affected, put a little cheer in the air. And, with that welcomed news release on the CTV television news, there was more cheering from us.Our experience with Canadian Choice, Dartmouth, has been outstanding. We could not ask for a better group of people to deal with. We would recommend them as a vendor for your window and door projects. The new windows look great and work really well. They also installed a beautiful fiberglass front door that has completely changed the look of my home.The whole process was smooth from start to finish.
