From start to finish Ian was great to work with. He sent Don out to put my siding up. He was honest, kind, respectful and clean. It was extremely hot and worked through it! My house looks amazing!!!
Oh my goodness can I say enough good things about working with Ian. He came out within a day of calling him and had amazing options to choose from. I am a very picky person and wanted a certain look for my renovated house. I wanted black window trim, white board and batten, and then white shake on one of my peaks. He sent me a quote back quickly and we got going. He even ended up getting out to our house to do the work quicker than originally planned which is these crazy times is absolutely amazing. They were quick and clean and my house is the star of the neighborhood and exactly what I asked for. I always am getting compliments and I love it! I wish I were a better photographer to truly capture how beautiful this work is!
I had Ian with Mountain States come out and give me a bid on new exterior (siding, fascia and soffit) for my home, I liked the vision he had for my home. Mountain States was my second bid, and I'm happy I found them. The first company wanted to charge me nearly double for the same work! Ian and his team isn't just in it for the money, they also take pride in what they do. When Don came to do the work, he really took the time to do a good job. And a really nice guy to boot, I'm really happy with the job that he did. We opted to go with a insulated vertical siding, it looks really nice and will last for many years to come.
We looked around at several siding companies to help in refreshing our 23 year old house. Besides having a hard time getting them to return our calls, due to the madness that is Utah construction at this time, they were not enthusiastic in helping us. As we worked with MSW&S they were open to ideas we had seen on houses, gave great insight into current trends in the market to help our house look refreshed and new, and flexible with our schedule. Overall we, and many other people, love the look and quality of the work done. The only side note is that it took three weeks to complete due lack of resources for a crew of no more than one. But he did a fantastic job for an Army of One. ;-)
I had an excellent experience with Mountain States Siding & Windows. Ian came to measure quickly and gave me a bid within a day. My windows were done quickly and the installer was great. The siding was a longer lead time due to covid shortages, but Ian kept in communication and when he told me they were two weeks out, sure enough they started on time and finished on time. I opted for white vinyl siding because they had the vertical boards. Don installed my siding, he has great attention to detail. Being an interior designer I tend to notice little details and I’m very happy with how it turned out. The cost was more than fair, I highly recommend this company. As a side note, I also used mountain states cabinet company (sister company) for my kitchen remodel and that was a great process and outcome as well.
