Horrible customer service. I wish I’d read these reviews before buying a door from them. I thought Pella was a quality brand so I was willing to pay a premium for it. They sold me a very expensive exterior sliding glass door with a bottom channel that’s not weather proof. It rusted after a couple of months, making the door very hard to open and close. I’ve been trying to contact them to replace it for months. Their Customer Service won’t answer the phone. They have a text option that no one replies to. Don’t even think about going back to the store you bought it from. They don’t care and can’t help you once they get your money. I’m buying a dozen more windows for my house. They won’t be Pella!
I have tried to reach them to purchase my windows. I have called 30-40 times, left messages 10-15 times, emailed and used the set up appointment app. I have even called Pella direct and gotten the rep in Hawaii’s cell number and never got a response. With all my attempts I have never reached a human or had anyone contact me. As far as I am concerned this is not a real business. I would not recommend them to anyone!
They are just a phone call away with great team work.I bought my sliding door entrance as requested by head contractor who told me there is a key lock.I was totally unaware of the "need" to ask for this feature if I needed to at Lowe's upon purchase.Long story short there was none.Contractor told me he would order = did notI needed to figure it out myself... months after "studio" project was complete.Pella is excellent.!!!!!
I have had Pella Windows installed in my home for more than a decade. At the time of installation the service was excellent and since then the windows have operated without incident [except for the time my Labrador Retriever tore into one of the lower awning-style windows. The repair was done promptly and professionally]. Recently one window needed the blinds mechanism repaired. I received excellent, professional service from the employees doing the scheduling and from the technician making the house call. Good service should be acknowledged. BTW: I dealt directly with Pella and not a second-source provider.
We purchased windows and doors for our entire house through Lowe’s a year ago and we still have issues. Between a missing window received 6 weeks later, missing screens, bent parts that were bent back into place instead of replacing, missing hardware that takes weeks to be shipped in and then once here a few more weeks to schedule a visit. It took 4 months to finally get missing sliding glass door parts and visit for repair and just noticed the catch for the lock is missing so we are still not secure! Apparently parts are not housed here and they ship each part in. Not very efficient!!We purchased Pella because we “thought” they were supposed to be the best. They have failed us in pretty much every way possible.
