Recent reviews often highlight courteous technicians who arrive on time, communicate clearly, and complete repairs efficiently. Several customers mention fair assessments, including recommending repairs instead of full replacements when appropriate. A smaller set of reviews cite delays or gaps in follow-up communication after estimates or online inquiries. Workmanship on window and auto glass resealing is frequently noted positively.
We had a great experience with Glass Dr. their service technicians were knowledgeable and friendly. They communicated well and came on time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
I’m very happy with their service! Michael and Johnny came over today and fixed my shower door which was falling off in less than 20mins and they did such a great job. When Micheal came to inspect the door and give me a quote, he was the only one who said this is repairable and that I didn’t need to replace the door. While other companies said this is not repairable. We will surely use their services in the future again.
If it weren't for the technicians that came out to measure, estimate and install this company would not be in business. Once we got a estimate, all communication with them was useless. They sent the same man out 2 days in a row to look at the job and write an estimate. Neither of which they could locate later. When we called back to set up the install, it took a couple of weeks, then they sent out a different technician to look at the job and write an estimate. We explained to him that we accepted the estimate and asked them to order the glass and had it scheduled for him to install that day.He called the office, they had no record of it. We remembered the first tech's name and my husband said he knew it wasn't the technician's error. That he had been very capable, knowledgeable and professional, but everytime he could get ahold of someone in the office, which was about 1 out of every 3, they were clueless. The lastest tech followed through on getting everything lined out with the office, gave is his personal cell and even gave us a discount for our inconvience. A couple of weeks later he is sent out for the install. He arrives with 2 (4') windows. We have 1 (8') door.He figures out the problem. That was someone else's order. He calls the office, they do have our door glass. He will return in an hour. He retuns in 2 hours. They ordered the wrong glass. He calls the distriburor, they have it.He gets it, He installs it. They dont have an invoice. My husband calls me. I don't remember where I put my copy of his estimate. They settle on a number I had written on a notepad with our appt date. It was what I had estimated I thought it would be. It was still about 50 dollars more than the discounted estimate. But it is done. I am done. I will use another company next time. It's too bad because the technicians were wonderful to work with.
I had a windshield installed on my truck last week and noticed there was a defect or chip on the windshield. It is not on the surface of either side. I called and was told to take a picture and text it to the number provided. Never got a reply. A few days later I submitted an online form from the website. Still no reply. But they'll reply right away when you want to purchase a windshield. Cannot recommend.
They were able to remove and reseal my windshield that was leaking. Employees were very nice and knowledgeable. They held to their appointment and did a quality job fixing the previous company's mistakes. Thanks again!
