Recent feedback shows mixed experiences. Positive notes mention successful shower door installs and product guidance. Negative reviews frequently cite long delays, difficulty reaching the owner, missed appointments, and unresolved issues after deposits or installation. Communication and scheduling consistency are the most common concerns.
I am writing this review on behalf of my partner who is a local business owner. He needed a window installed for a client, and Kingston Glass came highly recommended by a past employer. The owner came out in August, measured the window and took a deposit. After many attempts of trying to reach the owner (even using different phone numbers), my partner finally got ahold of him at the end of November, and the work was scheduled to be done on December 9th. The owner never showed to do the work on December 9th and has yet to call to reschedule. He has also not returned any phone calls, and the shop has been closed when attempts were made to stop. At this point, a refund is necessary but the owner will not respond to any communication. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences he has had with a local business.
My husband (who is a contractor and also renovating our home) has paid over $2,000 for custom shower glass over 2 months ago but we have been completely ghosted. We cannot get a hold of anyone from this business. They will not return any of our messages, they won’t answer the phone and are never in the shop when we stop by in person. We had work done on another house and it was completed (a few changes were needed) but we trusted them enough, as they were recommended by a friend, to work with them again on another personal project. It has been 2 months since we sent payment in full and they have totally disappeared with our money. Devastated. We will file a report with the police if we don’t hear back within the next week or so.
Believe the bad reviews. 10 MONTHS, invoice paid for and still no work done! The owner plays hide-and-seek: promises to show up only if you call from a number he doesn't recognize, then vanishes. Unprofessional, unreliable, and borderline fraudulent.
Paul is a professional and has a great attitude and that’s hard to find these days.He installed two shower doors with side panels in two bathrooms and helped pick the right handles. Efficient install and I’d recommend his company and his services without hesitation. He’s about to install a very large picture window that needs replacing. I’ll follow up with how well that goes as well.
We contracted Paul from Kingston Glass to come to our home, measure and install glass shower fixtures. He installed what we ordered however it leaked on 2 sides and he did not install the plastic strip between the stationary glass and the door. So that leaked also. My contractor called him to come back and fix this which he resealed the bottom of the glass, did not put the plastic strips and did not adjust the large stationary glass wall which did not meet the door at the top. My contractor installed the strips after we bought them from Amazon but the door is still not straight. Now we spent over $4 k which was outrageous but they were recommended. I have asked for an itemized bill 3 times and have never received it because I feel he can’t justify what he charged. Having another glass shower installer look at the job and all my issues, they said this should have been $2500. I know they have received decent reviews but I would never ever recommend them. Stay away!
