I normally dont leave reviews but very happy to have been helped. Had a broken window, came in with some measurement and out the door at a bargain price!
They are so very helpful and the project I had turned out beautifully I would definitely be back for any other glass needs
We ordered a number of glass pieces for our table tops. This family owned business took care of us like family. Sara and her staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The price was also very good. Unquestionably we will utilize their services in the future.
I just don't know. Either everybody I know is in the wrong business or this place is way overcharging. You decide...We want them to take sand, which is often free in Florida, heat it up and cut it. That's 300$ and takes days? Okay...Then there's the labor for glass repair billed at 75$ an hour for 4 hours. The going rate for laborers in Central Florida is about 13$ an hour. It's only about 15$ for a drug- free laborer with a driver's license. The job should take 15-45 minutes, require 2 people, with fifteen minutes drive (each way). I don't understand how we get to 4 hours OR 75$ an hour. To somehow arrive at both of those things feels like highway robbery.I reached out to them by email to see if there's any senior discount, flat fee for labor, union discount, or anything but they ignored me. I just don't know. I wish we could make a fair deal. I'll change this review if we do.Update: Lost a star for snide remarks and rudeness. Readers, you decide.Clearly customer service isn't what Statewide has been doing for thirty years. After ignoring my email and having an emotional rant against my honest review I won't do business with them even with a discount.
I put in my order via email with specific measurements and size for my project (an aquarium sump) and not long after I received a call just to verify the size of glass I wanted and it was ready the next day. Prices are great and I was in and out no problem. Fast and friendly and workmanship was good as well.
