Contracted Reece Windows to install hurricane impact windows in our brand new build. Installation end of July 2024. The leaking started a few days after installation in August 2024. Took months and thousands of dollars out of pocket to get acknowledgement and finally get the leaking window replaced. We were never reimbursed the out of pocket money used to mitigate water damage and their subcontractors insurance company has denied the claim since act of God events aren't covered (aka hurricane/wind driven rain). Please ensure you're researching a couple of things before going with Reece:1. They claim to be a company that employs their installers and they never subcontract. Not true. Subcontractors did the installation of our windows.2. If you're interested in hurricane impact windows, or any product, make sure you ask for proof that their sub contractors have the level of insurance required should there be a problem. Even though our contract was with Reece, they forced their subcontractor to file the insurance claim. Which, hasn't taken care of the issue for Reece's customer.3. Their support process when a problem arises is terrible. Imagine taking out brand new windows of a brand new home to replace them with leaking Reece windows. Attention needed to be paid and they had no interest. They do not care that I had to pay money to get this taken care of, that has still not been reimbursed.Best of luck, you'll need it if you move forward with this company. Also, go ahead and put your attorney retainer fee in savings so it's ready to use later.Side note, the review is written this late because it's taken them 1 year to deny a claim. Onto the lawsuit phase!
So far definitely not satisfied. Signed the contract and paid the down payment on 4/9/25. Was told by our salesperson that it typically takes 6 weeks for the windows to come in. When we spoke to the office we were told it typically takes 8 weeks. It’s been 13 weeks and still no windows.
We love our windows, and the gentlemen who did the installation were fast, efficient, and did not leave a mess. The inspector told me that he used to install windows, and these are great windows, and were installed properly. We highly recommend Reece Windows!
We are very pleased with this company and the work they have done on our home in Lakeland Fl!! We have had a lot of work done over the years and everyone from our sales guys that knocked on our door to schedule an appointment, to the office staff and there customer service, and I can t say enough about our crew that worked all day, and were very respectful and clean!! Kudos to you guys!Oh and thank you to Jason , he was a pleasure to have you out during the install and answered all our questions!!In conclusion I’m glad we paid for Quality and comfort, because Reece you guys made it very easy for a construction project!! I highly recommend Reece windows and doors for all related projects
