I had a new front windshield put in my 2014 equinox this week. They had availability the day after I called them. My insurance quoted a price of over 700 that didn’t include the sales tax, recycling of old window or the recalibration of window. I made an appointment to have the rear window in my truck replaced. When I dropped my truck off in the morning I was informed that the glass had been neglected to be ordered. This obviously moved the completion time further in the day, complicating my ride situation. Once I secured a new ride I left the truck to be repaired later in the day. I then received a text stating they neglected to tell me that they couldn't work on the truck do to it having a tonneau cover. My opitions were to drive all the way back to the store and remove the cover or reschedule. I decided to pick up my truck and take it elsewhere. If they are this incompetent at basic communication I certainly wasn't going to trust their workmanship.
