We met with so many door companies and it was truly a breath of fresh air to meet with Debbie. She was so knowledgable and helpful with the door selection, style and color. She helped us with payment options and was very clear in arranging the installation process. The installers were great, they did not leave a single trace of dust, trash or debris on the inside or outside of our home. It is such a relief to walk in by our doors and not feel a draft anymore in our 40 year old home. I would recommend working with Debbie 100%.
Pella provided great service, from Debbie's assistance with choice of door and detailed measurement, to the Art's order verification to Ruhlman's installation and Matt's final staining on the door interior. We are really Happy with the result!!! And the door is doing a great job of keeping the cold drafts outside!
I got bids to replace a 31 year old Pella window from “everyone else” first, and then decided to give Pella a call, even though I was always told they were expensive and overpriced. I spoke to Debbie from the Lincoln store, she was helpful and informed and immediately scheduled a time to come to our home and give me an estimate to replace our large window. Debbie understood that quality and appearance were important to me and assured me the window would match. Pella was the only company that could provide the window I wanted. Given that, the estimate was reasonable and the window was installed last week. The technicians were efficient and were very respectful of our home. I am so glad my last estimate was the right one! The window is perfect! Debbie followed up to make sure everything went well. I highly recommend Pella Windows of Lincoln.
Do not buy. - Lazy, Poor Customer Service, clearly do not back their product. This post is being place on September 26th 2025. We did a building project and also did a home addition as well. 120 days ago, three of the windows were installed defective. That's 120 days!! The first window the sill was broken. Broken glass. They installed anyway and told they would ship a replacement. 120 days later. Still looking through a broken window. See attached photo. Two more windows were to be installed next to one we had purchased from Pella one year ago. The rep scanned the bar code on the window to order two more matching. But when they arrived, the shades were the wrong color. Apparently the QR / Bar Code was not accurate. So instead of Pella shipping the proper color shades....they wanted to replace the single shade that was the color we wanted. They didn't want to own their mistake and sending two shades is more expensive than replacing the one they originally sent. Talk about Lazy and Cheap. Problem is....I like the original shade color and the new one not so much. But I guess as the customer I don't get to choose. Seeing that nothing right would get done, I accepted.Only one problem....you can't open the window to service it. It is frozen shut and won't open. So I asked the GC to have the rep come out to open the window for us. I made this request over a month ago. So far, no one from Pella has called to schedule or apologizeSo, to summarize, I have one broken window (on delivery) and one that can't even be opened to clean it or put in the new shades so it matches the other two that Pella sold us.So today I called Pella to ask them if this was the Omaha office that had let me down or the Lincoln Office. I talked with Jeff. I told him I was posting a 1 star review on Google. Now if you ran a business, wouldn't you want to ask what was wrong and what could be done to fix it? Nope.....Jeff just said, "fine".He informed me the GC sales rep was Brady. He didnt' even offer to put me through to Brady. They are happy to take the sales. But if anything goes sideways....you will lose hours of your life trying to get the warranty department to even work with you and after 120 days we still are looking through a broken window. How hard can it be on a standard size frame to send a replacement sill? How hard can it be to send the sales rep out to change out the interior shades?
We had a very bad experience with Pella. From the amount of time to actually get our window and door installed to now where we are 20 weeks from when we ordered. They didn’t even order the right screen door to begin with so had to wait an extra 4 weeks for the screen door to get installed and it’s not even installed properly. Our salesman Don hasn’t been much help since we bought our windows (Go figure). I got a response of “crapola” when I told him they didn’t order the right screen door. I’ve had to take days off of work for them to come to my house to install and now I have taken more days off for them to fix there mistakes. This whole process with Pella has been stressful and a big pain in my butt.
