Batchelor Windows and Doors Inc removed an existing window and installed a new, larger, window on our home. They were incredibly professional, left the area clean each day, and communicated quickly. The price was very competitive. We will absolutely use them for future projects.

I rarely write reviews like this but I am compelled to do so in this case because Tom Batchelor is just outstanding.

I agree with Stephie's review in every respect: the attention to detail; the price was good (I originally thought it was too good to be true but after Tom presented some alternatives, I was persuaded); they got the job done in the amount of time they said (though Milgard is taking substantial extra time to fix problems on their end); Tom sweats all the small details (including *many* things I did not see); fast bidding/rebidding; presents options; always texted me of his ETA and status; cleaned worksite daily; and, Tom truly goes above and beyond.

I'll add: *He* is the one holding Milgard accountable for their mistakes. He does all the communication with them and is on site within *minutes* of learning they arrived to do work, if not arriving with them, to oversee their work.

I'll also add: He wasn't satisfied with the work my painters did on the custom windows he had built/installed (b/c there was the risk of poor seals potentially resulting in water damage, shortening their life - something I would never have seen.). He recommended "his" painter, who was just as meticulous as Tom, and, unbelievably, Tom came to the site 3 times to oversee his work. And, the price was very reasonable.

Finally, Tom is just an incredibly nice and positive person.

Batchelor gets my highest possible recommendation.

I wish all contractors could have the attention to detail that Thomas and his team have. They installed new Milgard windows and a 3 panel sliding glass wall on our house in Long Beach.
Not only did the windows turn out great, but the price was good, and they got the job done in the amount of time they said.
Thomas kept on sweating all the small details, which I really appreciated that didn't need to point them out. He also revised bids within 24 hours in writing for any changes. He gave me different options on trim work, etc. He also always texted me of his ETA and status, so I knew what to expect every day.
Other positives about them were that they worked around our family schedule and dogs, and were done by 5pm every day. They put down drop cloths and vacuumed after their work every day.
They truly went above and beyond.
I work with a lot of different contractors in my business, and they were truly exemplary. Very highly recommended.

I needed to get new windows before my baby was born so he could sleep without hearing street noise. I dealt with a lot of window contractors who flaked on me and time was running out. Tom showed up and within a couple days had the quote. The price was right, and the workmanship ended up being perfect, 100% professional, up to code and the difference in sound is amazing. I plan on hiring him for some more windows later this year.
