We undertook a large remodel project that included a new roof, windows, siding, and gutters that ran from July-November. This two-star rating does not reflect the quality of work performed by the individual sub-contracted companies, which final product was satisfactory after timely repairs. The low rating is due to a significant lack of communication with Ridge Top, and unfinished work.
Sub-contracted crews showed up on-site unannounced or changed their work schedule without notice from Ridge Top. We were informed we did not need to be home on days only outdoor projects would be completed, and yet crews were ringing the doorbell asking for instructions about installation that was not provided to them by Ridge Top (window orientation, downspout locations, etc). This interfered with work-from-home meetings.
During siding work, the doorbell circuit was closed by poor nail placement causing it to run continuously. This resulted in both the doorbell and transformer becoming overheated and melting the bell chime cover inside the house. This was replaced by an electrician in a timely manner.
Significant work-site debris was left in the yard, and Ridge Top's project managers shared our alarm at the final walk through. Together, we picked up roofing brackets, pail-full of nails we have collected with our own magnet, trimmed pieces of fascia/soffit/siding, and whole shingles.
When we signed with Ridge Top we specifically asked, and were assured, that the new window trim would match the existing size, eliminating the need for additional significant drywall and paint repair. After 2 separate measurement appointments before installation, the finished trim installed on 13 windows was significantly smaller. We raised this concern during installation and at multiple walkthroughs, but it was repeatedly ignored. At the final walkthrough, Ridge Top acknowledged the extensive repairs required to both drywall and painting and offered to provide compensation if we could get a quote from our own painter. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after the quote was shared with Ridge Top and multiple un-returned phone calls, they reversed this decision citing generic contract terms.
This situation would not have been an issue had Ridge Top honored their initial assurance of minimal repairs or addressed the problem promptly. Instead, the lack of transparency and follow-through has resulted in unnecessary additional expenses and frustration.

Highly recommend!! Ridge Top was fabulous to work with. They gained our trust from the first estimate back in 2023 and didn’t disappoint once we finally moved forward with a new roof in 2025.

During both estimates Jay was candid, honest and gave us his opinion about roof life- most companies will go for the sale even if the roof could go another year. Jay gave us all the pros/cons so we could decide.

We moved forward with the new roof in 2025. Jacob and his crew did a phenomenal job. We were so impressed by the constant communication and updates. We were never wondering the status. I was especially impressed with their attention to detail. Thanks Jay, Jacob and crew!

Jacob’s roofing team was efficient, respectful, prompt, and seemed to take pride in their work. They completely replaced our house and garage roofs. They were a pleasant team to have around the property! Michael (sales rep) was knowledgeable about the various roofing materials, and he took time to explain the choices we had, helping us make an informed decision.
I also appreciate how detail-oriented Jacob is, and he makes sure everything is completed to the best of his ability. We can communicate easily and quickly.

I had hail damage on my home and decided to go with Ridge Top Exteriors because they were willing to work with me and came in at the same price my insurance was covering. Peter was a joy to work with—before I signed the contract, he was excellent at following up and answering all my questions.

My only critique is that I wish the same level of follow-up had continued after I signed. I ended up having to reach out myself to find out when my roof was being scheduled.

That said, on the day of installation, I was so impressed with the team of workers. They worked together in perfect sync, almost like a beautifully orchestrated dance. As soon as they finished one step, they were already moving on to the next. I could hear laughter throughout the day, which made me feel good knowing they enjoyed the work they were doing.

Because my home is 135 years old, there were some expected issues where wood needed to be replaced. It was actually neat seeing the old plank boards underneath.

Overall, I’m really happy with my new roof and with Ridge Top Exteriors.

I can't say enough good things about Jacob and his incredible crew! From the very first consultation to the final shingle, they were professional, punctual, and downright impressive. Jacob clearly knows his craft-he walked me through every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt confident in the plan.

The crew showed up on time every day, worked efficiently, and left my property spotless when they were done. Not a single nail or scrap left behind! The quality of the workmanship is fop-notch-my roof looks amazing and I know it's built to last.
