Steve the Window Guy

Always a pleasure to talk with Steve! He is very personable as well as knowledgeable about all things window and replacement. Great memory too, I swear he remembers every project he's done for me in detail! I don't usually look forward to estimates but his are always friendly, quick and painless!

We've used Steve twice now and both times have been great experiences. Steve is very thorough and his install crews are friendly and professional. The price is also hard to beat. We will definitely call Steve again for "Phase 2." Thanks Steve!

My goodness the other reviewers that posted their horror stories are clearly all narcissists who created self-inflicted problems by doing very dumb things. The internet is so strange... My experience with Steve and his team were absolutely amazing. Scheduling the consult was easy as hell - they use a text based system to confirm appointments and they kept each appointment as confirmed. Steve's initial consult was exactly what I hope for in a contractor - he listened to my needs and wants, made a few suggestions, and never pressured me to do anything I thought was unwarranted. The spring was super rainy and the schedule got understandably backed up, which put me in a bind since I was trying to sell my house. I reached out and they did their best to accommodate me on the schedule. When the crew came to install the windows they were prompt and very clearly experts. The work done was impeccable - my photography skills don't do the windows justice. Pricing was more than reasonable, and there were no issues with permits/inspections when the work was done. If you need windows, call Steve. You will not regret it unless you're so dumb that you install sod before your install and then can't figure out why it was 'trampled.' Uffdah.

Edit - if 0 stars were an option thats what they would get. 3 stars for first installers doing a great job and owner responsiveness/willingness to fix issues. To say I am disappointed is an under statement. We had all the windows & sliding glass door replaced by this company. Last year we started with the bottom windows and they turned out fantastic! Made us excited to finish the top windows. The crew was great to work with. Went above and beyond. End of August we had the top windows & door replaced. The guys finished up in 2 days. After going around our house over and over and finding multiple and I mean multiple things wrong. The guys destroyed our home. We contacted Steve the owner (sadly on a holiday) but we couldn't wait any longer. He came back out to our home to help fix the multiple issues. After he left we found more issues. So yet again Steve had to come back out. We appreciate his willingness to continue to fix all the issues from the team he hired to do our upper windows / door. The first guys did such a good job. They cleaned their mess up, removed the impossible stickers and cleaned the windows. I'm now stuck trying to remove the stickers from windows which has been a nightmare. Yes I said I would do them only because I was done dealing with them. They cracked a board below a window they installed. Yes they replaced the board but now I have to go buy more paint and color match to repaint the board. It currently looks so tacky not matched but I haven't had anytime to go purchase paint and repaint the board. And it's right above our front door so everyone sees it. The crew ruined our plants by placing their ladder on them. The photos posted have since been fixed by Steve and another crew member. But this shows how the crew he hired left my house. The owner Steve is fantastic but sadly due to the extremely poor job done by his team I would not recommend. My husband and I just noticed the inside window trim is loose in some places. The siding class door sticks when we try to close it. Like its getting caught on something. It's just been a headache dealing and finding more issues as time goes on. I initially left a review and then deleted it because Steve made the effort to come fix the multiple issues. But now finding loose trim or window sills (not sure what it's considered) and dealing with a sticky door I find a review is warranted as this time. It has just been a headache to deal with especially with how much money I've spent. Edit- had the bedroom window replaced and not even 4 months old and the trim part already cracked...a lot! Going through this company has been my largest regret ever & has caused me the most stress you could imagine. Avoid!
