Great experience with Guido’s from start to finish on a custom picture window. Todd and Mike were extremely polite and fast working skilled tradesmen. Guido (owner) communicated schedule very well. Excellent quality and value. Happy to support 80+ yr / four generation family business in the city.
Amazing service. I needed a small mirror for the bathroom on my boat. All my questions were answered via email, I didn’t pay until collection and the mirror was on the counter when I arrived to pick it up. Exactly what I had ordered and very sensible price. Thank you
Went to guidos with a very basic and straightforward job to cut some plexiglass for a project. I brought in a template that I offered to leave with them to ensure measurements were exact. I was told they didn’t need the template and they took some measurements. I got a call a few days later to pick up. I got the material home to learn the sheets were cut short by about 1/4 of an inch. I called guidos to let them know and was told they followed the dimensions of the template. I brought the template back in to show them and as I attempted to show him what was off was told just leave the template and I’ll cut it. Shortly after leaving I got a call from guidos asking me to come back in and that I gave him a different template than I brought in the first time. They basically accused me of trying to get something for nothing. I assured him it was in fact the only template I had and he continued to dispute that saying the original template had holes and the one I brought in didn’t. I asked him to go check if to ensure there were no holes and surprise surprise there were holes as it was the same template. I went to pick up the new plastic and brought back the 2 of the 4 pieces that were incorrect as I had already brought him the other 2 when I returned the pieces with the incorrect dimensions. Apparently he forgot I returned the incorrect pieces the first time and said I cut 4 new pieces suggesting I was only dropping off 2. I will never go back to this company. Their mistake, blamed me and were rude in the process. Now the question is, are they correct. I will update when I get home and test.
Tito and Byron came by to give me an estimate on glass replacement and i asked if id need a new window or just new glass because the top window doesn’t stay shut. Instead of trying to get more money from me since I am far from handy, they fixed the window free of charge while here to give me an estimate for the glass replacement. They were very professional and I recommend their service.
The work was exceptional. Mike was awesome. He was pleasant and personable. I would definitely recommend this company. Guido is honest and fair in his pricing. I can't say enough good things about this business. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I definitely recommend them.
