Replaced glass in Bow windows: really awesome job. Was quick and hassle free. Daniel was very helpful and knowledgeable..
I recently hired Ardmore Windows and Doors to replace 18 windows in my home, and while the sales process started off strong, the rest of the experience was incredibly disappointing. To begin with, the sales representative was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He clearly explained all the window options and helped us choose the style we wanted. Unfortunately, that is where the professionalism ended. One of the most alarming issues occurred during installation: a window was either dropped or thrown from the second floor onto my front lawn, where it shattered. The crew made no attempt to clean it up. I only discovered the shards the next day while outside barefoot with my toddler. I spent hours picking up tiny pieces of glass myself. When I raised this with the project manager, he didn’t apologize or show any concern—he simply offered $100 off for my “time.”Beyond that, the overall project management and execution were riddled with issues. I had to review the order sheet at least ten times because the company repeatedly made mistakes—wrong quantities, wrong styles, wrong hardware. Even after all of that, the final order was still incorrect. I requested that the new windows match the existing styles (e.g., 6 over 1, 8 over 1), yet this was ignored, and we only realized the error during installation when it was too late to correct. They also installed two top sashes in one window and acted as if this was normal. Their explanation was that “owners ask for ridiculous things sometimes,” so they didn’t question it. This was the only window of the 18 installed incorrectly, yet I was the one who had to push to have it acknowledged. The hardware situation was equally unprofessional. They installed mismatched pieces—gold locks with nickel lifts—because the hardware we selected was “out of stock,” but they never told us. When we asked for replacements, they simply handed me a catalog and told me to choose new ones, offering no guidance, even though only one alternative actually worked with the holes they had already drilled.Another major issue involved the window screens. I requested screens for all windows in the original estimate, and this was clearly documented. Despite that, no screens were installed. Their excuse was that “homeowners don’t often want to open their windows.” After the mistake was pointed out, they installed makeshift screens that don’t fit properly and are extremely difficult to remove and replace—clearly not the correct screens for the windows we purchased. The job, which was supposed to take a few days, dragged on for weeks due to unfinished work, installation errors, and repeated reorders caused by their own mistakes. Some of the work is still unfinished.I would not recommend Ardmore Windows and Doors to anyone. Unless you want to act as your own project manager, clean up after the crew, and still end up with results that don’t match what you paid tens of thousands of dollars for, look elsewhere.
We had a door installed by Ardmor 2 years ago. The team did not get the installation correct (there were gaps between the seal and the door frame) but after a few visits they fixed it. Recently, we have started having water come under our door. We have contacted Ardmor numerous times to have someone come take a look at the door. We called at least 5 times, everytime with a promise that the scheduler would call us back, yet the scheduler never did. We finally got a call and had someone come out. He is stumped as to what the problem is. He peeled back the quarter round under the door, but did not have a nail gun to reattach it. He took photos to send to his manager, with a promise that the manger would be in touch. A week later and we still have not received a call. We followed up today and again were promised we’d receive a call, and again we did not.We are now left with a leaky door that continues to damage our hardwood floor, and a quarter round that is loose.I would not recommend Ardmor. The inability to get ahold of anyone or have customer service accountability has been incredibly frustrating
I pretty happy with the overall experience that I had with Ardmor. They are very professional in all that they do (communication, installation, etc.). The doors installed are great with smooth opening and locking mechanism which is plus. Very happy and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks to Andrii, Benjamin and the entire Ardmor team!
I was recently in need of replacing 3 triangular picture windows that were original to my 36-year-old home in Monmouth county, NJ. The seals were broken and moisture had seeped in. The windows were this way for YEARS. Most local contractors wanted no part of the job. When I called ARDMOR to explain the situation, they were receptive, professional and timely. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and understanding, and they provided realistic estimates of cost and time to produce the windows and schedule installation. They took on the job, and completed the installation of the custom-built windows today. The transformation is dramatic! I couldn't be happier, and can't recommend them highly enough! THANK YOU to everyone at ARDMOR for a great job!!
