I am so happy with my new windows. We have had so many complements on the new windows. The representatives were all friendly and knowledgeable. The installation people were experts. I requested a quote through my local Home Depot, this was the contractor that handles window and door installs. Received an email that they would be in touch, the next day I got a call from them and was asked what I was looking for and an in home appointment was scheduled! Nicholas was in the local area sooner than my appointment time, which was a plus. This is no used car salesman, this is not a pushy sales pitch and there was no “purchase the most expensive things we have with all the extras” crap. This was a walk around the home and him with a tape measurer, asking questions and what I wanted and was looking for. Easy stuff!! Came back in the house and he sat with his laptop, showed me ALL of these options for styles, colors etc. I chose what I wanted and he gave me an instant quote, wow, no going back and figuring numbers, done right then! Loved the options, quote was fantastic and I signed all the “paperwork” that day. Was this my first quote? Absolutely, but if you go looking at other places reviews on customer service and such, you’ll see why I went with these guys!I changed my mind on the door color after looking at my neighbors front doors, contacted them and they sent a change order, I signed it, it was taken care of.Day of install, the crew is phenomenal!!! Pleasant, informative and professional, they worked 2 days in 95° heat getting things done. I asked questions, they were helpful and answered wonderfully. They did the install, cleanup and took their time to show me the features.My windows were 1964 single pane aluminum frames. The difference just in outside noise is impeccable!! Highly Recommend these guys!!!
We had a really pesky problem with leaking windows above and below on two floors to our house. I had several people over and several solutions were tried, but none worked. One even suggested a roof replacement (which, it turned out, we had to do later due to a severe hail storm damage). It was in improvement, but still both windows leaked. I finally called Southwest Window and Door, and they almost immediately diagnosed the problem: a bad original builder installation that was causing a cascading series of issues. Long story short - we had them replace both windows, and we've had two hard rains where the windows got the full force of the wind and rain - and no leaking at all!! Their installers are also super-professional - it really sets them apart, in addition to the exceptionally knowledgeable sales people / solutions providers. And, the windows look at work great. I would highly recommend them - they quickly figured out a complex problem that no one else could solve in 8 years! Now we have great windows that work and look great! The crew did an excellent job! They showed up on time and walk through the replacement process. They replaced 50 year old windows! Showed how the windows worked got to work straight away. There was no pressure to buy or to purchase higher priced windows and doors. They took their time and showed up several options. Once the work started, the install crew was great. They were efficient and friendly. We were very comfortable having them in our home; to the point that we even left a few minutes before they did one of the days they were working. Overall very happy with their responsiveness and skill. I would recommend them to family, friends, and colleagues.
