I lived here for almost three years, and overall it was a positive experience.

I especially want to thank Angel, Bruce, and the maintenance team — they did an amazing job and were always helpful and responsive.
At the beginning, communication with the previous management was challenging, but after the change in administration, I noticed a clear improvement.

One of the main reasons I chose this community was because it is pet-friendly. The dog park was a great space for my dog and helped create a sense of community. The location is also very convenient, close to supermarkets, the highway, and downtown.

Overall, it was a good place to live.

I lived at Hathaway Farms Townhomes in Northampton, MA for over ten years, and it was a wonderful place to call home. The community is quiet, beautifully maintained, and truly welcoming — a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

One of the standout features for me was how pet-friendly the property is. They allow dogs, which was a huge plus, and there’s plenty of green space around for walking and enjoying time outdoors with your pet.

The leasing team, especially Erin, was always professional, friendly, and incredibly responsive. Any questions or maintenance needs were taken care of quickly, which gave real peace of mind.

The location is another big advantage — close to downtown Northampton, local shops, walking trails, and with easy access to major routes. It’s ideal for those who want both accessibility and a calm, suburban setting.

The townhomes themselves are spacious, with smart layouts, lots of natural light, and private entrances — it really felt like living in a house, not just a rental. After a recent visit to see some old friends I noticed the beautiful new windows being installed!

After more than a decade here, I can confidently say Hathaway Farms is a fantastic place to live — especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly, peaceful community with great support and location.

The townhomes are spacious, and the location is perfect: close to everything in Northampton while still offering a quiet, residential feel.

Recently, I noticed some great updates, including freshly installed windows that really enhance the look and feel of the units. It's great to see the management continuing to invest in improvements that make the living experience even better.

If you’re looking for a well-maintained, friendly place to call home, I highly recommend Hathaway Farms. It was a wonderful 13 years, and I’m confident anyone who moves in will love it here.

I genuinely enjoy living at Hathaway Farms. It feels safe, the grounds are beautiful—especially in the spring—and having an in-unit washer and dryer is an absolute blessing. One of my favorite amenities is the dog washing station; it’s been invaluable for me and my pup. The maintenance team has also been outstanding—friendly, respectful, and impressively responsive whenever I’ve needed help.

That said, I do want to mention that communication from one member of the administrative staff, Jennifer, can sometimes come across as overly harsh or passive-aggressive. I think the tone could benefit from a bit more warmth and clarity. Honestly, a quick read of Nonviolent Communication or even asking ChatGPT, “How can I say this in a kind and respectful way?” might go a long way.

Also, a heads-up if you’re a dog owner: the dog park often turns into a mud pit, and unfortunately, maintenance of that area doesn’t seem to be a high priority.

A great starter apartment in an amazing city! Perfect for new couples in their 20's or older people looking for a new community. We enjoyed our stay here for 3 years and would have stayed longer if not for opportunities elsewhere. We had an excellent maintenance team that helped us throughout our residency and an admin team that worked with us on pricing and availability. A cozy dog park in the middle of the complex and an awesome layout allowed us to be comfortable and prosper within our 2 floor town house. Located within a walking distance from grocery stores and small town shops. A car or bike trip away from the local library and a well equipped downtown is also nice. I had no bad experiences and can say I was a happy resident.
