Just had a wonderful experience going to this store to have a small job done. Walked in with an antique picture frame that needed a piece of glass. The owner was great and told me to return in a half hour. So I went to Thorne's, had a lovely crepe at the new crepe cafe for lunch and returned to pick up my finished frame. Easy, quick and very reasonably priced. Couldn't have been better!!

One, their telephone number is incorrect, so to check them out in my car, driving from Amherst to Northampton, was for nothing. I really should ask for gas money. Anyway, they wanted $50 for my piece of glass for a picture frame. Amherst Glass wanted $36. To my surprise Michael's wanted $25, so I went with them. Anyway, i had no brains, they are rated 3.1 (horrible), but I went there anyway. Big mistake. So what's the deal with $50? They are the only shop in Northampton? They use some kind of divine materials? Don't waste your time.
