I own a historic house that had old wooden, single-paned, windows. They needed upgrading and I was limited in what kind of replacement I could get due to my home being a historic house. After lots of research and multiple quotes I settled on Wooden Works, Windows and Doors. I wanted to stay true to the house's history and go with wooden windows. WWWaD were the only company that were able to fulfill what I needed. Ruben gave me a tour of the shop and showed me the process they use. Initially, the plan was to repair the sashes and replace the single panes with laminate glass. After examining the sashes Ruben and his team decided to just build new sashes and kept the price the same. Alfonso and his install team were very professional and clean. After the 16 windows were installed, the difference to the house was amazing. The house was warmer and there was less noise from outside. All the sashes lined up perfectly and glided up and down easily. There were no air gaps. From the outside and inside the windows looked perfect. I am very happy with the work that WWWaD and can't recommend them highly enough.

Wooden Works made a replacement window for me and I can't say enough about the company. Ruben, the owner, went over the options for building the windows, and brought me several samples of the different options. He took his time and I believe he had my best interests in mind, not his profit. After the window arrived, it would not quite fit the space due to issues with our 110 year old house. His crew responded within one hour! They adjusted the window that day and then installed it for free.

All of the employees were skilled, courteous, and prompt. My impression of the entire company is that they do quality and timely work, are trustworthy, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Oh, and in addition, the owner has a goal of saving as many trees as possible by offering options to repair rather than replace windows if possible and the client wants that. The repair samples I saw looked like new. Great place.

Five stars, can't say enough about this company! We had an oversized front door and trim that was severely damaged by a dog. Chris was great to work with - he came to my house to view the door and informed me it would be more cost effective to replace the door than to try to repair the door. To be sure about what his company does, I asked to visit the warehouse and when visited he showed me the workshop and the various doors the company produced to prove the company knows what it is doing. The construction of the oversized door took less than two weeks and the installation was a breeze. If you're in need of a new door and are in the Bay Area I can't recommend this company enough.

We have a home built in 1935 and are the 3rd owners. We have strived to preserve its unique characteristics. I had contacted six "wooden window" restoration competitors before finding WWW&DC. Rubin responded within 24 hours, asking additional info and came back with 2 quotes (repair and full replacement) for a 2 french door type out-swing casement window. I was skeptical at first as both quotes were half the cost of their competitors and the bottom of the window suffed from dry rot. Upon arrival, they removed their shoes before entering, and after examination, Ruben was positive a repair would do the job. Rubin and his apprentice removed the entire window, covered the opening with plywood and left the area clean. Rubin recommended we purchase new hinges with non removable pins (existing were removable).

Eight days later they contacted me asking to install the repaired window the following day, which they did. The team of 3 arrived within the quoted arrival time, were quick, quite and efficient. They installed the window, weather striped it and made sure the window functioned properly. The repaired portion of the window blended perfectly with the original. They replaced window glazing where needed and primed the window.They also replaced two pieces of hardware that were missing.

Upon request, Window glazing on the street facing floor to ceiling bay window was checked and replaced as needed.

I was impressed with the knowlege, skills and ability of all concerned. If you want to preserve the original craftsmanship of your homes wooden windows then call WWW&DC. I wish we discovered WWW&DC years ago when we purchased our home and will be our first call for window work going forward.

Wooden Works fixed my damaged craftsman front door!

I called them about ordering a new door. When Ruben came out to measure my doorway, he said he could fix my old door!

My old door had been kicked in by thieves. It was patched together with plywood. Ruben made it beautiful again, and the panels are thicker!

Beautiful craftsmanship and HELPFUL as the team at Wooden Works saved me a lot of money.

I hope to visit them again for a handmade bed.
