From the day the estimator came and measured the windows to completion, it was very organized and well planned, making it a very positive experience. The Pella installation crew went above and beyond to make repairs after discovering hidden damage before proceeding with the installation of the windows. I would highly recommend them as a company to be trusted and used.
We recently had a sliding door and several windows replaced. We are pleased with the all of the Pella products! (Especially that Impervia Slider door with internal blinds!!) From the beginning, with the sales agent John Dennison to Pella site supervisor Mike, who came by to check out the site during installation, to the installation contractor, Dave’s Home Improvement, team lead Mike and assistant Q, everyone involved in this process is asset to Pella! Side note, I grew up around family who were and are still handy men/contractors and I may not be able to personally accomplish that task, I can tell when someone knows their job! ??10/08/2025 - Update! We were so happy with the Pella windows we installed earlier this year, we got more! Our master bedroom has SW facing windows. The old windows were not keeping out the heat and we could feel winter storm wind forcing it's way in. I am updating this review with a few comments and more window photos! We used the same salesperson John, and we asked for the same work crew from Dave's who I can only sing praises to all of them, very professional. The work site installer Mike and the Pella inspector Mike did not like how the pre fabricated trims were installed at the factory. Site inspector Mike, had Tara at customer set us up with a great finish carpenter to replace the trim. The finish carpenter, Tom did a fabulous job! It was all minor hiccups and the whole team made the process painless! I stand by my five star review! The add on photos show the bedroom SunDefense Low E windows with the Bamboo Room Darkening internal blinds! Let me say that I wish I had these blinds when I worked midnight shifts! The photos will speak for themselves, the darkened picture was taken at the same time as the daylight picture! Personal note, I get massive migraines which make me light sensitive during those times, my bedroom is my sanctuary, for just the darkening blinds alone these windows are worth EVERY SINGLE penny!
Stay as far away from Pella as you can. I spent something like $30k on windows and the installation was horrible. It was done by Pella and was leaking from the start. Their plan to fix the leaking? Send out a tech a month later (windows leaking water for a month) to spray some foam and caulking on the INSIDE of the window. Go with any other company. I have heard multiple contractors complain about Pella since I have had my issues with them.
When we recently decided to replace twelve of our windows on the south & east side of our home, we contacted Pella Windows and Doors of Omaha & Lincoln. John Dennison, one of their window replacement specialists, met with us in our SW Iowa home.John is very knowledgeable about the Pella products available and offered valuable insights into design, materials and costs. He asked for our input onwhat features were most important to us. This allowed us to make decisions based on both our preferences and his professional opinion. The finishing team did an outstanding job matching the stain on our new Pella windows with the existing trim. Check out the "after" photo of our new kitchen window with the existing wood seat/shelf below it. Perfect match!John and the other Pella staff kept us informed about every step of the process. We love our new Pella windows!
My experience with replacing my windows was fantastic, start to finish. Such a great team effort. Nick Wilson helped me select the perfect windows for my needs. Frosted glass for privacy in the bathroom and to let in light in the stairwell without heating the place up. Love the retractable screens and easy open cranks. Nick was very service oriented and kept in touch with me throughout the process and followed up to make sure everything worked well and that I had a good experience. Joe Ellenberger made sure my window paint matched my current trim color and was fun to chat about my house remodel with. My installers knew their stuff! Will and Ken worked so well together as a team. They are crazy strong lifting those huge windows and they answered at least a dozen questions I tossed at them. They were fun and respectful of me and my property and my windows look amazing!!! Bailey gave me a follow up call and text and was super helpful when I didn’t know the name of one of the window parts. I’ve had Pella windows in the past and came back to them for my home remodel because I knew they would do an amazing job. Highly recommend Nick and the whole team for your window needs.
