The salesman that first came to do the quote for us was lovely, answered all of our questions. The work was done super quickly and was clean. The windows look great! The main reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I feel like these windows do not insulate well at all. We thought getting new windows would help keep the cold out/heat out, but I feel like our older windows did a better job than these. You can feel the cold air through one of the windows at times. So for insulation purposes I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

After having issues with another company we hired, we contacted Felix at Aurora Windows & Doors with an urgent need for an Energy Star certified door for our basement cold room. We needed it quickly because our energy audit was already booked and our Home Renovation Savings rebates were depending on it.

Felix and his installers were an absolute pleasure to deal with, coming in quickly on short notice to do the measurements and doing an amazing job from beginning to end.

I was especially impressed by the installers, Vitali and Maxim. Vitali's workmanship and attention to detail were second to none and he took the time to explain exactly how long we needed to wait for the sealant to cure and what parts I should and should not paint on the casing and trim. While he was working, Maxim took some time to adjust our front door, which was unusually difficult to close, and left it working perfectly. That had nothing to do with what we hired them for and was just done because they could to it and it would help us.

I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and would recommend them in a heartbeat for anyone needing work on windows or doors.

Gave me some great tips for cleaning too! I like that they are a local, family run business and windows are made in Vaughn, Ont. Excellent warranty, many other window companies say lifetime but you really need to read fine print, often many exceptions. Excellent price and often has good sales on. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much!
