BestCan

I had two windows replaced by BestCan, and from the quote to the installation, communication was great. Aleks was quick to respond, easy to work with, and provided an accurate quote and timeline for completion. The installers arrived on time and worked quickly and cleanly. The windows were installed expertly, and the site was cleaned up, with the old windows and materials removed. I would not hesitate to use BestCan for any future renovation work.

We met Aleks (Sales) at the Ottawa Home Show and were instantly impressed by his knowledge and the ideas he presented. We were happy to learn that BestCan are a family-owned local business. Our project included replacing a bathroom window and installing a patio door. Aleks came out to view the work required and promptly provided a quote. We were very pleased with the price and went into the office to meet Brian (President) and, sign the contract. Shortly after, Vlad - master installer!!! - came to take a second set of measurements and, the door and window were ordered. The install took place about 5 weeks later. On the day of the install, Vlad arrived exactly on time and his work was impeccable. He's very kind, a hard worker and gave us great advice. The bathroom window went in first and, it's a game changer compared to the old style that was there before. So much light and very easy to crank open! The removal of the two dining room windows, subsequent cutting of brick and drywall went without a hitch and before we knew it, the patio door was in! WOW!!! From beginning to end, Vlad did an amazing job! The finishing work on the inside and the outside looks terrific. The patio door looks like it was always there! We LOVE it. Vlad went above and beyond to make everything perfect. We would absolutely use BestCan again and highly recommend them. You won't regret giving them a call and meeting with them to get a quote for your home improvement project. Kudos to the entire team for taking such good care of us! Jane & Dan

Quite a professional and thoughtful door/window company, especially Aleks who explained a lot with patience about every detail of my new door requirement. As pic shows, it turned out to be so fancy and in line with my house out looking as well. I am loving in it! It is really pleasant experience!

My family has used Best Can a few times and have been progressively dissatisfied since. High pressure sales tactics, to start. We needed one window replaced, and Eric said they can't do a job that size and it's a minimum of three. Another time, my mother was left with a lot of caulking to clean up from one of the light fixtures after it had hardened. Not even sure how it got on there since the light fixture isn't by the window. Still giving them another chance, we called for a soffit repair. While up there, an outside light fell down and broke. They did have someone buy something to replace it with, and sent an electrician to install it. He didn't have good reviews, but since Best Can was paying for it, that's what we had. On the installation day, he had to reschedule because he didn't bring a ladder for a two storey house, even though he knew he was going to one. Not long after, we ended up on Best Can's call list. My mother told the unidentified man "I'll call you if I need anything ". That was a couple of months ago, and he didn't listen. Yesterday, Best Can called again and was told the same thing. If there is another call, I will be letting the BBB know. This company needs to listen to what elderly people say, and NOT call back again. Although eventually we'll be getting the last windows replaced, we will not be using Best Can to do so, and fully expect no further calls begging for business.

We had all our windows and a patio sliding door replaced, good quality on the product and installation for a very reasonable price. The installer even fixed the posts where previous poor siding installation (not by this company) had caused the former posts to completely rot away (how our old windows were still in place, I will never know). Great piece of mind and appreciate they did that work at no extra cost or stress on us as the homeowners. The minute after the first window was installed and sealed, I noticed an immediate difference in both the temperature and noise level of the house. I’ll update this review if any issues arise in later years but I really don’t anticipate that happening. We have felt very taken care of from the moment Aleks first walked through our door, and will be calling BestCan first for any future work on our house. We had numerous quotes from many companies and this was the best fit for our budget and needs.

i used best can to replace my outside vinyl shingles... they were here for about a week.. i have nothing but absolute praise for this company from their salesman to their workmen...all of them professional and attentive to every detail and all a pleasure to work with i would recommend them to everyone. i am having them replace two of my front windows this month and will be using them next year to assist in upgrading my washroom upstairs. top notch company.

I had the siding done on the upper level of my home this fall by BestCan. The experience was great from the salesman down to the installers. The job got started right away as they had the material in stock. Dan lead the job with two installers. Dan was great and open to my questions and requests. They cleaned up every evening before leaving which was important because I have a dog. They worked well and at a great pace together. Brian did a follow-up call to see if I was satisfied and sent some of the crew back to address two small items that needed tending to. An all around great experience with BestCan! I'm also getting compliments from the neighbours which is nice.

We recently had a front door entry system installed by BestCan Windows & Doors Ottawa. Our experience was nothing short of top notch. Every person we had interaction with was professional and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations. We are very pleased with the quality of the product, which looks amazing. The installation crew were excellent as well as the office personnel. Thank you so much!
