Metropolitan Window Company

When wanting to replace 14 windows in our home, I contacted 3 different window contractors. I had previously purchased 3 Marvin windows from a different supplier a few years back and liked the quality of the windows. Metropolitan Windows is the contractor for Marvin windows in my area, so I made sure to include them for a bid. My husband and I were very impressed with their presentation, window color variety, quality, and their reasonable price. The other two companies could not give me what I wanted, and their pricing was extremely high. It was a no-brainer to go with Metropolitan, and am I glad we did! The customer service was exceptional and the installation was seamless. Care was given by the installers to take precaution not to damage anything in our home. The entire installation took only 4-1/2 hours. They cleaned up, and took all the old windows and screens with them. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I recently needed just one window replaced, and after making several calls, Metropolitan Window was the only company willing to take on a job that small. I also had my house scheduled to be re-sided, and Metropolitan went above and beyond by rushing my order so the installation could be completed before the siding work began. Every single person I spoke with at Metropolitan Window was extremely friendly, professional, and—most importantly—responsive. In a time when it’s rare to even get a call back from most companies, Metropolitan Window stood out for their consistent communication. They kept me informed at every step, and I never had to wonder who to contact or when I’d hear an update. The owner, Maggie, personally reached out multiple times during both the ordering and installation process to make sure everything was on track and that I was happy with the final result. That level of customer care is truly exceptional. Overall, Metropolitan Window delivered outstanding service, exceptional communication, and high-quality work. I highly recommend them for any window project

I highly recommend Metropolitan Window Company for anyone considering window replacement. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was seamless, professional, and exceeded all my expectations. There was no pressure throughout the consultation and sales process unlike other companies I spoke with. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and took good care of my home. The final product is beautiful and I could not be more pleased. I am confident that if I have any questions, or need any support they will be there to help me in the years to come.

We researched different window companies and materials. Metropolitan was our choice after visiting the showroom and seeing the quality in person. We also wanted to utilize a Pittsburgh-based, family-owned business where you speak directly to the owners with every phone call. Our full home installation of 18 windows was completed in one day from 7:30-3:30. Not only does our home LOOK like a new-build from the inside, it almost stops us in our tracks every day from the outside! The crew was a group of 4: polite, efficient, and top notch professionals. It takes a lot to impress us in the cleanliness department and this crew was beyond our standards. Vacuuming the entire house after they left, we had less than 1-1/2 inches of dust in the canister. We would highly recommend them for quality, price, service, installation and clean up!

We had an outstanding experience with Metropolitan Window Company. They replaced all of our windows and completely redid our front and patio doors, and the results are fantastic. Everyone—from the sales team to the installers—was professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in their work. Our situation was a little unique because we had replaced our windows about three years ago using a different company, trying to save some money. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that going the “cheap” route doesn’t pay off—those windows were drafty and poorly installed. This time around, Metropolitan’s craftsmanship was on a whole different level. The quality of the installation and insulation is top-notch. They recommended doing full tear-outs with trim kits, and I’m so glad we followed that advice—it made a huge difference in how well the windows are sealed and how beautiful the finished product looks. The crew also did an excellent job cleaning up each day and making sure everything was neat and spotless when they finished. They even touched up paint and small details to make sure everything looked perfect. Everyone we interacted with was committed to making sure we were completely satisfied. It’s clear they truly care about their customers and stand behind their work. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Metropolitan Window Company to anyone considering new windows or doors.
