First with the good, the end product is really great. We are happy with how the windows turned out. They look great and the price is very reasonable. Now for the bad, when the crew took out our old windows they shattered the glass to take all 19 windows out. The end result was shattered pieces of glass all over the inside and outside of our house. 4 days later we are still picking up pieces we find inside our home. We found out that is not how they were supposed to remove the old windows. We found glass on our couches and in the carpet of our kids rooms. We knew there would be dust to pick up but were shocked to find small pieces of glass everywhere that we had to clean up. If you decide to go with this company do not let them break the old windows out first.
2 years ago, based on glowing recommendations from my neighbor who had new windows installed in her home as well as her Dad's house, we hired Shane from Window Depot.I waited for a couple of years before I am posting this review so I can report faithfully about my experience with the company and the product.I am happy to say that I cannot be more satisfied with our decision.In the first year, we had one issue with one of the windows and it was PROMPTLY replaced.There were a couple of administrative questions that we had for follow-up and the office was very responsive.The windows are WONDERFUL.The home stays cool in summer and comfortable in winter, and the noise reduction is remarkable.Through it all, Shane has been our point of contact, since he was the one who walked into our house on Day 1 to tell us about the product. He takes the time to listen and address every single concern and question.I wholeheartedly recommended this company to anyone reading this review.And as is obvious from the time line, this review is not given lightly or for any personal gain. It is an honest endorsement of a good business.
