This is the best decision I ever made! They’re so value for the money and with storms we saw no leaks on 19 windows and 1 sliding door ??I asked for big picture window instead of 3 and Doug made it work. Love the sunset every day.Highly recommended!
A-Taylor Made Window literally just finished installing my windows an hour ago. We are super happy with our decision to go with them.We initially got 5 quotes for windows and a-Taylor Made had the second lowest price (but better offered better quality windows than the cheapest quote). Doug was our sales agent and was always available to chat about window brands and styles. He never tried to upsell me and never showed any frustration when I emailed/called him a half dozen times changing the style of windows I wanted. We ended up getting mostly Tuscany Milgard windows. We did our whole house, so it was 17 windows, including a giant living room window. The total was about $15k.Our installer was Hanh (or Hank?) and he was awesome. Originally the contract said it would take 4 days for the install, but it only ended up being 2 and a half days. The install team used drop clothes where they walked and covered everything in plastic while working. Hanh was helpful in telling me exactly what I needed to clear away from which windows before each day. It ended up being a lot less moving of furniture than I would have thought, so he certainly saved me some time and energy there. My dog gets freaked out by the sound of air compressors, so they waited to use the nail gun all at once instead of throughout the day and also gave me a heads up so I could walk the dog while they did use it. The next day they brought a different nailer that didn't require an air compressor which helped out with my dog's anxiety and was much appreciated.Since the windows are brand new, I can't speak to their longevity or quality over time, but I can say that they look beautiful, they slide smoothly, and I've already gotten compliments from several neighbors. The only negative would be the wait for the Milgard windows themselves, but this is not unique to a-Taylor Made. Every window installation company I got a quote from told me that it would take months for the manufacturer to complete and ship our windows, as they are custom and need to be fabricated and assembled by Milgard after sending in the measurements. When I did have questions about the timeline, Shiva, the woman working at the office, was extremely helpful and always quick to answer emails or explain things over the phone.I highly recommend a-Taylor Made Windows.
We hired A-Taylor Made Window after getting quotes from several window companies in San Francisco. They had the most competitive pricing and did a GREAT job. We had to replace front windows in a duplex for a condo conversion project in San Francisco. Stephen and the team knew their stuff in regards to city codes, and the windows are gorgeous. Stephen was very generous at the end to include a bit of work that we hadn't thought to include in the original bid. Highly recommend.
A-Taylor Made Window provides excellent customer service, the kind that you can only find at a locally-owned business like this. Bill, Cathy, Maria and everyone else that we worked with were helpful and friendly every step of the way. We've worked with a lot of different contractors for our house, but this is the first company we've worked with that I highly recommend.I'm thrilled with our new windows. We got the Simonton Daylite Max white windows. I was worried about getting vinyl windows, but they look very good and they have greatly improved our insulation and sound.
We had A-Taylormade Window replace 26 windows and 2 doors in our Albany home. The installers were punctual, professional and accommodated every request. We were very happy with the finished product. Highly recommended for service and value.
