I had an incredible and positive experience at Uniglass Plus Richmond Hill. I needed to repair my windshield that had a stone chip about the size of a loonie.
I had a stress-free experience at this location at NO COST to me. I highly highly recommend this location to anyone who is dealing with windshield damage. It is clear they value their customers and I wish I had gone to this location sooner as I have no regrets doing so.

Prior to going to this location, I had visited 2 other repair shops to assess the damage and see how much it would cost, and what the process would be like.

The first shop: They told me I needed to replace the entire windshield. They made it sound unavoidable and extremely urgent, and I was feeling pressured into their service. It would have cost me a lot out of pocket as well. I decided to get a second opinion.

The second shop: They also suggested that I replace the windshield and that I should contact my insurance.

Thankfully, when I contacted my insurance company, they directly recommended Uniglass Plus Richmond Hill, as it is a preferred autoglass shop by them, to assess my windshield and that the shop would handle the claim if it needed to be replaced or repaired.

The moment I arrived to this location, the experience was completely different and entirely better. The staff were very kind, examined the damage carefully, and explained the damage as well as the best way forward to fix it. They walked me through what actually needed repair in a way that I could understand, and that a full replacement was unnecessary.

What impressed me the most was how they handled everything for me through my insurance. They handled ALL the paperwork, and I didnt have to pay a single penny out of pocket. I am so thankful I chose to come here as the entire process was handled carefully and transparently, I saved hundreds of dollars and avoided having to change my entire windshield.

After the damage was taken care of, it was as if they replaced my windshield entirely! I asked the owner to share before and after photos, and thhe stone chip was completely fixed, you can hardly even notice there was any damage at all.

The owner Fadi and his team were very honest, kind and helpful the entire process and took care of everything for me. I highly recommend UniglassPlus Richmondhill and will definitely be returning in the future if I ever need their services again.

I had an excellent Windshield Glass repair service experience with Uniglass Plus Richmond Hill (426 Major Mackenzie Unit 2). They installed and calibrated my windshield the same day, and the job was fast, immaculate, and done proper. My car was even returned to me cleaner than when I dropped it off! Faidi, the gentleman who assisted me is a pleasant, honest guy who is proactive, responsive, and patient to answer all questions/concerns and explained everything thoroughly including their solid warranty. I highly recommend this shop for excellent service delivered with kindness, high quality, urgency, and high integrity.

Excellent service. Neat and timely work. Fadi goes the extra mile to explain the process and took care of the insurance paperwork. His team even made sure my aftermarket dash cam wiring was tucked back in place. Great customer service. I highly recommend them.

This is the worst decision that I ever made: get windshield replaced at this shop. They damage my car frame permanently and denied their poor workmanship that cause this.

Summary:
stone chip, repair fail, replaced OEE glass, distorted, replaced one more time, much better, but starts leaking 5 days after the replacement. It is determined by certified technician that they damage my frame upon remove the glass that Uniglass installed.

Detail:
July 11: I had a stone chip, locate about 3.5 in away from right bottom corner. Called Uniglass, they advised me that OEE glass is same manufacturer as OEM and may be even better (lie, OEE is made by Fuyao, it is worse than OEM especially if you have head-up display). Ordered the OEE glass before came (this is a bad decision, for a dishonest business, if you have ordered glass, of course the chip repair will fail and beyond repair).

July 18: Informed me they cannot guarantee repair, and I agree to replace if repair failed. Then repair failed as he planned, got the glass replaced. Distorted when driving. He's not happy but agree to replace with another one.

Aug 19: Today they replace my distorted windshield with another one, I feel better. Being told do not carwash in 5 days.

Aug 25: Went to carwash, leaking inside, called store manager Fadi, he strongly accused me went to carwash earlier than today, I told him go shell check camera. He keep accusing me that I went to other carwash earlier than today, which makes me angry.

Aug 27: Came back, they spend 3 hours, then told me it is not from windshield replacement, it is from sunroof, it's a coincidence. ( my car never had any issue for the past 7 years, and starts leaking right after windshield replacement???) Then direct me to find a bodyshop to get it repaired.

I went to dealership right away, they use ultrasound device scanned,told me it is potentially due to Uniglass cut the metal frame that holds the glass. They helped me do a temporary remedy and I backed home report to insurance company.

Sep 25: I couldn't wait any longer, decide to pay out of my pocket to get glass replaced with OEM glass and get a formal report. I have shot video and pictures during removal. It is very clear that there is a double layer metal on top to glue with glass, passenger side it is still double layer, but driver side has been dent and cut, see pictures from both sides. Uniglass's technician must know that they've damaged my car, and it is part of frame, cannot be repaired.

Damage: 1, leaking inside, electronic part is affected and mould could develop. 2, frame been cut and cannot hold glass well. 3, driver side handle was broken when they removed abruptly. 4, small scratch and dent.
