ARE YOU TIRED OF BEING CALLED BY THOSE PHONE SCAMMERS WITH A FOREIGN VOICE IN A CALL CENTER THAT CALL DAY AND NIGHT? well... HomeFix employs them!!!Then Jenny from the Homefix called me and filled my voicemail with a 2 minute and 37 second message about all the things Homefix could do for my home. and if that wasn't bad enough, then Julie called from Homefix, but Julie only left me a 53 second message. I NEVER ASKED JENNY or JULIE to call me and based on the number of 1 Star Reviews for Homefix, I would never use them*** It IMPOSSIBLE to get on their Do Not CALL List ****Think twice about this company when you want to hire them.
I have never requested Homefix to come to my home, ever. However, last night around 8pm Homefix sent Eric to my home uninvited to knock on my door and ask if I would like prices on windows, siding and such. Its was 8pm and the sun set at 6pm. Its way to dark to see anything, we'll less price anything. If he had come by during daylight hours he would see a 2 week old roof, 1 year old windows and brick siding. None of which needs replacement. This really bothered me as I have no soliciting signs posted on my door and yet he still felt the need to knock on my door and solicit. He and I both are luck I didnt open the door last night in the dark because it would have gotten ugly as this made me feel uneasy in my own home and I am going to do whatever I need to do to protect my family, including scarring away threats at my door. I do not appreciate people knocking on my door uninvited and soliciting, it felt threatening at that time of night when I am trying to relax with my family, smith and wesson. Just saying
Salesman ignored my no soliciting sign to knock on my door and ring the doorbell at 7:15pm on a literal dark and rainy night, freaking out my family and scaring my toddler while my infant was asleep. Quickest way to earn a 1 star review. Appears to be a very disreputable business with a habit of doing this according to other reviews
One of the Worst roofing experiences I've ever had or been involved with! Nothing was as they said it would be. Was told I would hear from the owner and that still hasn't happened. Very disappointed as a disabled veteran on a fixed income felt like I was not important.Neither was my home. Oh, I got a two hundred and fifty dollar discount for all my troubles. Correction it's $300.
My review rating is soley based on how pressured i felt during my estimate visit as well as the obvious price gouging. Our initial quote for siding my garage was a little over 23k. I was shocked by that amount. Once i expressed that my husband and i would need to dicuss and we would get back to them, we were immedietly offered a price of approx 17k but in order to secure that, we had to get on the calendar right away. I expressed again that i would need at least 24 hours to have a conversation with my husband. The consultant immedietly said "ok so your opting out of the lower price". Again i stated that i would not be commiting to anything in the moment and wanted at least 24 hours to make a decision. The consultant left the room to go make a call in his vehichle. He then returns with an offer of approx 15k and again needs a commitment right away. My response was the same. He leaves again, comes back in with approx 14k. At that point i expressed to him i was uncomfortable with the fact that i was being put on the spot to make a desicion right now. How did we go from 23k down to 14k in 20 minutes!!! Thats all i need to know this company is not the right fit for me. Yes i know its "their job" and yes i know companies need to make a profit but to know that if i would have accepted the initial offer of 23k they were ripping me off by almost 10k. I actually feel disgusted by this tactic. I have read multiple reviews with the same expirience so i know this is not a one off. This is not good business. This is taking advantage of people and assuming were not smart enough to see through it. I am choosing not to share the name of our consultant because while he was putting on constant pressure, he was freindly and this is clearly the way he was trained.
