Absolute poor customer service. I sent him three different projects. Three different homes and all the doors leak. He took out existing stucco. Waterproofed, sliding doors cut The Frames out to put in retrofit. Sliding doors so there's no waterproofing.Caused a lot of water damage with mold due to improper install buyer beware..Update this company is a scam and not truthful what so ever I will post entire text thread as well as more photos showing improper install as well as Carlos has been aware of all doors for over 1 years. He has made no effort to correct this situation except he will split and new construction slider 50 50 labor and parts 1 year later.CSLB HAS BEEN CONTACTED AS WELL AS OWNERS INSURANCE COMPANY AS WELL AS LEGAL SERVICES. I reached out to CDA Windows and Doors a few weeks ago to get a quote on replacing the sliding glass door in our home. Carlos was very knowledgeable and courteous when he spoke with me on the phone. After the initial quote for replacement glass, we decided to upgrade to French doors without any sales pressure from Carlos. Their pricing was very competitive based on other quotes I received. He even came by the next day to make a temporary repair at no cost, since the lead time was about two weeks for the new doors.The doors came in just under two weeks from ordering and the installers arrived right on time. They took about 4 hours to complete the job and the new doors looked and functioned perfectly. The only recommendation I would make is to have the installers use a drop cloth to reduce the amount of dust and debris from reaching other parts of the home.We will be looking to replace all of the windows in our home soon and CDA Windows and Doors will be our first call.
I had CDA put in 9 retrofit double pane windows and one kitchen sliding glass door to replace my 45+ year old aluminum ones. The price was much lower than I feared it would be. The job took about 7 hours to complete, including cleanup. I still had to vacuum afterwards, but I'm a bit picky. ;). The sliding door install involved much fiddling and adjusting, because the previous door just barely allowed the adjacent kitchen pantry doors to open, but they managed it with no problems.I *love* my new windows! I can now actually see my view, instead of blocking it out with blinds all the time to cut down on the heat and glare. The windows slide and lock easily, and the screens are virtually invisible. I got a transferable lifetime warranty as well. I definitely plan to hire CDA again to replace the last couple of windows.
