Adjusted the review- friends & colleagues that are aware of what happened felt that I rated too high ( they recommended a rating of zero to one). I posted on Renewals website but they seem to only post their 5 star ratings. This is the last I will be posting regarding this project.
I had a great experience with Renewal 5 years ago when the replaced a patio door.
I hired them in the spring of 2025 to replace 10 windows. ( approximately $ 24,000).
It was a terrible experience this time. They incorrectly measured the size of the windows. The 1st set of installers started in June. Since the window size was incorrect they built the trim into the windows. I have pictures to attest to all of this. I had no alternative but to go with these windows and trim since they had removed all of my old windows and it was unbelievably terrible looking. Management came that day, agreed it was incorrect & poor workmanship. They redid all the trim and caulked using the wrong color of caulk.
Different management came and agreed that the caulk needed to be redone ( they tried painting over the other caulk)- that didn’t work, they recaulked and it was sloppy with a lot on the siding of the house.
In all, they redid the caulking 4 times, redid the interior trim 3 times ( pieces falling off, joints were off, pieces misaligned), exterior aluminum wrap was completed 3 times. Installation took from June- October.
The general manager (Mike) stepped in during the final stages. To his credit and integrity, he viewed the second last process and stated that this was unacceptable workmanship and did not meet the standards of the company. They took a small discount off.
The windows themselves are of good quality and Mike reaffirmed that I wasn’t being unreasonable. Unfortunately, this was a home improvement that went terribly wrong from the beginning. I have ti replace the rest of my windows and unfortunately cannot hire Renewal by Anderson again.

We are very happy with the service we received from Mike Bow and Renewal by Anderson. We had bought two patio doors through Mike last summer and everything went as planned. Mike was very helpful to us when choosing our doors. 2026 we are replacing the rest of our windows and were happy to have Mike Bow be our salesman again! We had another great experience with Mike. He was very informative and helpful. We cannot wait till all our windows and doors are Anderson Renewals!

What a pleasant experience from start to finish! The guy showed up to estimate and measure windows for replacement at the time agreed on. He was very professional and answered all our questions we had. We agreed on a price, signed the contract and they sent in the order for the new windows. We did all of our downstairs windows including the big old picture window we been avoiding for years! They were great staying in contact on the build process and a date for the install. Upon the instal date, 2 young men showed up to put in the windows. They were absolutely great, very professional, great work ethic and very respectful to the surroundings. Zack and Tyler worked diligently for a day in a half replacing all 6 windows. They were very careful and removed their boots even though we told them they didn't have to when going in and out of the house. These two young men were a breath of fresh air restoring some hope for the younger "me" generation ;) When project was complete, they showed us the proper maintenance etc. and answered all questions we had. We have nothing but positive words for this company!
