“I can’t say enough good things about Quality Windows, Inc! Joey is absolutely awesome—his professionalism and dedication are second to none. Maham is also fantastic, and together, they’ve completely turned things around for us. The quality of the windows and the service we received was outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone in Santa Barbara looking for top-notch windows and exceptional customer care!”
Avoid this business at all costs! They forgot to load closet door hardware and one door when we picked up the materials. $400 worth of materials. When we asked them for the hardware and doors, they blamed it on me, and required me to order them again and pay again! Joey does not follow through on follow ups and has horrible customer service. Do not recommend!
I had a service issue with an old Milgard sash and couldn't figure out how to get it taken care of. Espy at Quality Windows stepped up and not only got me in touch with Milgard, but found out my sash was under warranty!! Great service and thanks so much!!!
Positives: sliding glass doors are much nicer than old ones. Open and close easily and quietly.Negatives: door screens are loud from sound of metal on metal and nobody cares to do anything about it… our old door screens opened and closed more easily…Interesting: office staff are generally nice and easy to work with, but there’s one lady in there (the owner) who is a little unpredictable… like, for example, she will send you an invoice multiple times a day every day in a row and disregard your questions and concerns until it gets paid, even if you’re not in town at the present time… we were on a family vacation for a week without cell or internet service, and told them it would be so ahead of time… and yet, she kind of freaked out on us for not paying a bill….And it all stemmed from the screens making noise. We were ready to pay their tech upon install completion but it was our understanding he suggested we not pay if there was still an issue… so we did not… and when we came back to town we had multiple angry messages by text, email, voice mail.Just odd because we paid every bill and the amount was so small… it was almost rude… alas, water under the bridge… running a business can be stressful… we can forgive the one trying to make payroll without payment from us when it was due and expected. But the reason and circumstances were just never even considered. Felt like she thought we were making up excuses. And today, months later, screens still sound like metal on metal. Loud enough the neighbors can definitely hear it every time we open and close the doors… ??UPDATE: it’s been 6 months since install was done and this review was posted, still no call from “quality” to correct the issue. The screens are so bad now they are not only scraping paint off where they are rubbing in the tracks, but shards of fine metal (Aluminum) are scraping off too. Since we have a pool, and people walk around barefoot a lot, I’m concerned the aluminum will get stuck poking under bare feet. It is light weight and could blown around by the wind. End up in the pool too. Not sure where to go from here… doesn’t seem they are capable of coming back to fix it.
I am finally writing a review after three years of dealing with this shotty door/install. I have had quality windows out and they claim that the problem is with the Milgard product. Milgard has been out 4 or 5 times and attempted to fix the problem by placing a "band aid" on it. I had a new Milgard vendor out this week to give a quote for all new windows now. He looked at the door and said he believes it to be an install issue. There is standing water on the inside track of the door that does not drain out. It used to be water coming into the house but they put a heavy duty weather stripping to remedy the issue which now makes it impossible to close the door without leaning into it. The standing water has caused staining and damage to the door moulding as well as my floor now as it has been 3 years of dealing with this problem. Wish I could have given 0 stars!!! I contacted quality windows and was told by the owner he would look into it and get back to me. That was more than a year ago and I haven't heard back. I like to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous now.
