Window XChange

We are glad to have picked Windows Xchange to replace our windows. Mason, their sales manager, worked patiently with us and answered all our questions promptly. Their Install team finished the job much quicker than expected, and they did an excellent job. They were careful and neat, they did not to leave any mess in our house. We highly recommend this company. From the owner to the rest of the team, we would trust them to handle any job.

Window XChange just removed six of our 40-year-old single-pane windows and replaced them with new Milgard double-pane windows, and we feel that they deserve a stellar review!!! Mason Brenner, our contact person, provided outstanding service from beginning to end. On the day he came for an estimate, he arrived promptly, brought actual operating window samples with him, listened to our needs, and answered all of our questions. He was very pleasant and professional and emailed us a complete detailed written estimate, reasonably priced, the very next day. He quickly responded to all further email inquiries we sent him. Other window contractors we subsequently interviewed did not display the reliability, efficiency, nor professionalism that Mason did. When we decided to hire Window XChange, Mason came for final measurements and paperwork, and we were given a delivery date. The windows were delivered to us on the date promised and installed the very next day. The installers, Brandon and Mark, were also very prompt, pleasant, and professional and did an outstanding job. They tended to every detail and made sure the windows were spotless before they left. We even noticed a slight flaw in one of the windows, and the installers immediately notified Mason, who in turn promptly notified the manufacturer, who is already resolving it. AND the windows look just beautiful! We could not have hoped for better service than we have received from Mason and his crew at Window XChange. We were looking for a local company and took a chance on this one based on their great reviews we'd read on Yelp, and we're so glad we did! Many, many thanks to Mason, Brandon, and Mark; we give Window XChange the highest recommendation possible and would gladly hire them again for any future window needs!!!

It's not too hard to find a company that will do windows replacement for cheap. Most of these companies will do retrofitting by a script and won't go beyond with accommodating you with custom replacement. We had to replace 10 windows all of which were non-standard size and required 1) custom made windows (which most companies will do for you) 2) custom replacement. With custom replacement, this is where we stuck. None of the companies we've been through would do this sort of job for reasonable $. We pretty much had two options - Option 1: pay astronomical amount for the job or Option 2: let them replace the windows the way it's written in their script (and no one really listens to what you want, they all tell you they know what to do). Not with Window XChange! Mason came on scheduled time, listened all our concerns (and bs) patiently, gave us advises on how best to handle the job and provided us with options. Most importantly, he heard us and understood exactly what we wanted! A day later we got an estimate on how much the entire job would cost and to our surprise it actually was pretty reasonable. It was not the cheapest quote that we got from one other company (that would not do the custom job), but for the custom job that we required it was actually the cheapest quote and fit our bill. We also trusted that Mason knows what he was talking about and we decided to go with Window XChange. We glad we did, the end result worth every penny (we are very picky customers).

I was referred to Window Xchange by a friend who had used to them to replace windows in their 70's era cabin. I didn't know if they would service my area (Oak Park, CA) since they are located in Valencia. Kent replied to my email immediately, and refered me to Mason, one of his reps. We scheduled an appt for measuring, and Mason showed up on time (uh, if you have had to wait for service people to show up, you know why that in and of it self is impressive!). He listened to my reasons for wanting to replace our 5, original townhouse windows (1983 era, aluminum, single pane sliders) and recommendations. In particular, we wanted to improve the level of noise control. My husband works from home and is constantly disturbed by our neighbor's loud children, delivery trucks, and occassional high school activities from the nearby school. Mason brought actual windows so we could the functionality, and sample color swatches for us to choose the finish. We decided on the Milgard Tuscany Series with laminated glass for maximum sound control. Mason told us our order would be in within 2-3 weeks. It came in 2 weeks and we scheduled for installation a few days later. I asked that the installers call on their way over to my house, which they did. Brandon and David arrived on time, and immediately got to work, laying down tarps to keep the mess at a minimum. They had to make some onsite modifications to the frames in order for them to fit properly due to the heavy stucco surrounding them. They also removed our blinds, and rehung them better than they had been in the first place! In less than 3 hours, we had 5 brand new windows. We can not believe the difference they made! Within minutes, we noticed how dead quiet it was inside! Additionally, the windows don't shake when someone closes the front door, or a truck drives by. This was money well spent, and we keep asking ourselves why we hadn't done it sooner. I highly recommend Window Xchange as they exceeded my expectations on all levels from timeliness, follow-through, communication, quality product and customer service.
