Absolutely fantastic experience all around. We needed to replace our old, cheap window shades, so we reached out to River City Window Fashions for a quote, among 3 others. When Jim arrived, he was prompt, professional, patient and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain our options, including the pros and cons across the various products. He was very helpful with offering suggestions and patient with all my questions and indecisions. To top it off, he was BY FAR the most budget friendly. I highly recommend Jim & River City Window Fashions. We will be calling them again when we are ready to do more window updates.

We highly recommend River City Window Fashions for your window treatments. After gathering bids, we decided to award the job to River City as they were very competitive and knowledgeable about the work to be done. We had shutters installed in our bedroom, living area and dining room. They were a little tricky to design with the arches above our windows, but Jim designed them to fit perfectly. They are beautiful and add so much personality to our windows. Jim and Reuben arrived, started working and had the total installation done in a few hours. After completion, they totally cleaned each work area. Highly recommended family owned business.! The bonus is that they are really nice people ! We are very pleased!!

Jim and his team did an amazing job on my shutters. The experience from start to finish was nothing but positive and professional. I had all of the blinds in my living room replaced with beautiful high quality shutters and it definitely took the feel of my living room to a whole new level. Jim really took the time to make sure I understood what I was getting and went through a very detailed consultation and estimating process. After the shutters were installed, I noticed a scrape across one of the panels (likely a mistake in the manufacturer facility). I let Jim know and he got a replacement going immediately and had it replaced within a few weeks no questions asked. I appreciate how much he cared and wanted to take care of us right away. I would recommend River City Window Fashions to anyone.

The best part of the whole experience was having Jim (the owner) come right over to discuss what we wanted, quickly. He gave us prices and we selected what we wanted. He gave us a timeline for build and delivery and they came to install on the timeline that had been promised. We liked them so much, and were pleased with the professionalism, that we asked Jim to measure another set of windows for us. He again gave us the fair price and expected timeline and he was giving us updates on the manufacturing and shipping as time went along. As soon as he received them, he set up an appointment to install and he personally came and did the install in just a few hours. He left the work area clean and even reset our furniture (nice surprise). I don’t really know if you can find a cheaper shutter price but I DO know you won’t find a more professional process or installers. Thanks for making my wife happy!

Having purchased a home with 8 feet tall windows and NO window coverings (just ornamental draperies) we needed something! After interviewing River City Windows and meeting with Jim, we decided to go with his family-owned business! Jim brought samples, explained the difference in the shades (light-filtering or room-darkening), and offered advice for each set of windows. Truly professional installation (dedicated crew, no third party subcontractors) with cleanup! They then showed us in detail how to operate the controllers and the phone app. The photos below show light-filtering shades in the living and dining rooms, and blackout shades in the master bedroom. With the blackout shades, they install tracks to seal out all light! It's incredible! Highly recommend!
