Terrible customer service, false promises, long delays, and appointments canceled without warning. Fortunately, the product is of good quality. Avoid the Sherbrooke agency!!!
I was potentially unlucky but it was the worst experience I could have had. Firstly, Fenplast simply forgot about me because the salesperson had left (or been fired, it's not really clear...). In any case, an automatic departure message would have been appropriate, which was not done. Then, when I went there to follow up, they had a hell of a time finding my order even though it had been sitting around for a few weeks... Their attitude clearly showed me that they were blaming me for not coming earlier when I had been told they would contact me...?! Not to mention that they almost accused me of having made an arrangement with the salesperson because the agreed price should not have been granted! Uh... no! I chose you BECAUSE this promotion was available! I would never have chosen you otherwise...! Then, when I wanted to make an appointment for the installation, they told me that there was no availability for several weeks. Okay, I'll wait, no problem...! A few days later, I was told that a spot had "opened up" so the installer would be there in the next few days... Okay yeah... I accepted to accommodate them even though I couldn't be there... And let's say that changes the payment management, it's still $17,000...! I had also asked them to notify me at least 1 week in advance... But for them, there is no problem, just manage and adapt!! Finally, the installer comes to do the job and surprise, surprise... The capping is incredibly ugly! Fenplast even admitted it themselves!! Days between 1/16'' and 1/8'' in all the folds, poorly done cocking and 2 colors, other folds that protrude... Fenplast returned the installer to redo the cap, but it changed absolutely nothing, it's still just as ugly. On the other hand, they told me that they didn't understand why the cap was necessary and would not have done it if it wasn't written on the work order. Moreover, my neighbor who has exactly the same windows did not have to redo his cap with Vaillancourt... In short, it would have been more aesthetically pleasing, and I would have avoided the $2000 cap fee. In addition, according to Fenplast, it was the first time they had used this installer. That's what they were probably telling me to defend themselves against the job, but as I said earlier... They told me that a place had "opened up" for the installation?!?! That's clearly a lie (among others that I'm refraining from mentioning because this post is already very long!). So, for me, Fenplast doesn't give a damn about their customers... I strongly, strongly, strongly advise against it.
Excellent service from both the installation and sales teams. Everyone was very attentive to customer service, which made a big difference. The work was carried out in a way that minimized disruption and with the utmost respect. The products are also of high quality and exactly as agreed.I've done business with them a second time, and my opinion remains the same. Very satisfied once again.
