We recently hired Ideal Siding Boston to install Hardie Board exterior siding, new windows, and gutters over our garage to match the rest of our house, and the results were outstanding. From the initial consultation to final inspection, the team demonstrated true professionalism, deep product knowledge, and superior craftsmanship.We initially had a different siding contractor (not Ideal Siding Boston) to side the main part of our house, and our experience with the old contractor was so disappointing that we chose not to have them finish the project. For that reason, we purposefully sought out a siding company that was approved and recommended by Hardie themselves to finish installing the Hardie cement board siding on our garage.Ideal Siding Boston's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. The installation was completed on schedule, with precise workmanship that has completely transformed the exterior of our home. The Hardie Board looks beautiful and has already improved both our home’s durability and curb appeal. Ideal Siding also helped fix and address all other areas of concerns that were caused by our previous siding contractors (uncaulked areas, poorly installed boards, missing plugs, etc.). They also helped install new house numbers, a new mailbox, and new lighting fixture on our garage to help complete the look.Communication was excellent throughout — Ryan, (our point person covering sales and service throughout entire project) answered our questions promptly and was on site almost daily to ensure things were going well. June (project manager) and the crew maintained a clean, organized worksite each day. The crew worked in our driveway and the driveway was clean every night. They laid tarps out below their work areas so that it captures the sawdust, white vinyl dust, fallen nails, and other debris. They then disposed of the construction debris so it didn’t get blown around. The crew was also incredibly hardworking and worked from 7:30AM - 6:30/7PM each day they were on site.It’s clear that Ideal Siding Boston takes great pride in delivering high-quality results and customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend Ideal Siding Boston (paired with Ryan) to anyone considering Hardie Board exterior siding work! Working in the city can be challenging, but Ideal Siding handled everything smoothly, including all the city permitting. The space between buildings presents unique challenges. Once the old siding came down, they uncovered unexpected rot, and without missing a beat, they took care of it. They even managed the dumpster so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.They also took care of the details like the trump, doors, and corbels.The crew was great—hardworking and respectful—and the new siding looks amazing.
