After 25 years, my wife and I needed a new roof installed this year, so we asked a friend who is a contractor to recommend someone and he immediately without hesitation advised us to consider City Roofing and Siding. We worked with Matt Lasek, Owner of this family business, from beginning to end. He gave us a fair price for the work and we added new gutters even though he did not recommend changing them. Since we were changing the roof’s color, Matt gave us some samples to look at and compare against our siding. Matt took care of all details prior to and during the installation and he was on site a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly. The men arrived on time, they were courteous and in no time had the old roof off and the new one installed. They also made sure to clean up after the work was done. The new gutters were put on the next day by a different team. Matt was a complete professional, courteous and answered all our questions. We are very happy with our overall experience and just like our contractor friend, we recommend City Roofing as well.
After experiencing 2 instances of large, heavy limbs falling onto our roof during the extreme icing/ high winds we experienced this February (2025), I called Matt to ask if he could have someone come out to check for any damage to the roof. The next day Matt himself completed the inspection and gave us the good news that there was no damage…. and more good news: this was a courtesy call with no charge.I can’t say enough about City Roofing’s superb customer service.Bill WalshCheshire
Matt was extremely kind and helpful. We thought we needed a new roof due to some leaking but he came and repaired all of the damaged areas instead which was so helpful and we were so grateful we didn’t have to replace the entire roof. He went above and beyond to help us out and was so professional. I would highly recommend him and when the time comes for us to redo our roof we will be using him.
Let's start with they returned my call. The first time I called. If anyone has tried to have work done on their house these past few years, you know how unusual that is. From there, the responsiveness on performing the estimate and providing a competitive bid made the choice to engage them easy. Supplies were delivered on time as promised and the crew arrived when scheduled as well, all things not to be taken for granted. The crew then did a terrific job with the install and, to my amazement, if you didn't notice the new roof, you would never have known they were there as the yard was a clean after they left as before they got there. Can't say enough good things about the experience from both the business side as well as the quality of work.
I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled after receiving a level of honesty and integrity that you don’t often see. I reached out to Matt and explained that I had a leak in my kitchen the last time it rained heavy. He came out to look and told us the solution was a simple fix ( installing a new plastic piece on a vent in our roof). When we asked what we needed to pay to have it repaired he told us he couldn’t take payment for a job with such an easy fix. He came promptly early the next day and installed the new piece on the roof for us. We were so impressed with Matt and his business and will surely think of him in the future for any of our roofing needs. I can’t recommend this company enough!
