Our experience with Gabe’s has been excellent! From 1st contact, to estimate, to completing our roofing job (2 buildings including an 800 sq ft detached garage and our approximately 2000 sq ft single story home with attached garage) everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional! My husband and I were impressed with the overall operation. They brought their own dumpster at 6am and the roofing team began promptly at 8; they moved deck furniture to the yard and pulled up some garden solar lights that could potentially be damaged prior to laying huge tarps around the buildings to catch debris and protect the areas. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each day - double and triple checking for debris and nails. When both roofs were complete, the dumpster was promptly removed from our driveway, all furniture was put back in place as well as the garden solar lights. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had spray painted our metal chimney black to compete the overall clean look of the roof! We are so happy with the team and their work that we are having them replace gutters on both buildings, replace porch supports/columns at our home and replace a window at my father’s home. We would recommend (and have) Gabe’s to anyone wanting quality and professional work!!
I hired Gabes to put gutter screens on my gutters. No complaints, fast and efficient. Did have to ask the youngest worker not to be walking on my metal roof any more than needed but screens were placed with no apparent damage.I was most impressed however when I accidentally overpaid (didn't deduct the depost I put down before the job). Gabes contacted me about the over payment. I was going through a lot emotionally at the time with a sick pet and asked Gabes to go ahead and cash my check and just refund me the difference.No questions asked. They found my mistake and followed through without missing a beat. The office staff was definitely very trust worthy. A 5 star to me.
We purchased a house where the previous owners used Gabe’s to remodel. My husband was mowing and hit the glass sliding door with a rock. I called Gabe’s and they were able to figure out over the phone what door we needed and they ordered us a replacement. It was cheaper than getting the glass fixed somewhere else. They came faster than promised and did a great job. We also appreciate that the employee on the phone took the time to look and track down the door that had been installed.
I recently sought bids from four well regarded roofing companies in Springfield. Of the four, Gabe's was by far the most professional in presenting and explaining their bid, detailing the materials and warranty option. Their shingle provider offers a 50 year warranty! Their bid was also the lowest by a significant amount. They started work one week after I signed the contract and finished the job in a day and a half. The eight man crew clearly knew what they were doing and how to work as a team. As I waited for the final bill I wondered if I would see all sorts of extra charges to make up for the lower initial estimate, but no- the final bill was exactly as ddescribed in their estimate. I'm very happy with their work and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Gabe’s Home Improvement replaced our roof on our house and garage. Our project was started a couple days after contacting them and we are very satisfied with the work that was done. This was all completed in a day and a half. It all looks great and the cleanup after the job was done was perfect. They took extra care in protecting our landscaping around our house and garage. My husband is a retired carpenter and very hard to please and he was very impressed with it all the work. He sat and watched them both days. Ricardo, the crew manager, was awesome. Actually everyone was. They were always available for any questions we had. We definitely recommend Gabe’s Home Improvement.
