We recently had Great Northern in to replace 5 old builders grade windows and we are very pleased with the outcome.
We had pricing from other companies, some cheaper, but felt very comfortable with Clodette. She is very personable, informative, knows her stuff and truly cares about what was best for our needs and that the job was done right.
They didn’t just install an insert, they removed the windows back to the studs and installed a whole new high quality window, complete with improved insulation, new trim inside, caulking and capped the lintels on the outside. So no more maintenance for me.
Clarke the installer, did an amazing job. He is very meticulous and takes pride in his work. He was not in a rush to get in and get out. He took the extra time necessary to make sure everything was done right. He also cleaned his work area at the end of each day and cleaned the windows inside and out when finished. A true professional.
In the end we’re very happy with Great Norther and would definitely recommend them for your home project.

Over several years, I have contracted with Clodette McNea and Great Northern Home Exteriors for various services. This has included the replacement of all windows in my home, new front and back doors, new eavestroughs and downspouts, and aluminum capping over all exposed wood surfaces (for maintenance-free treatment).

I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of products used and the workmanship exhibited by employees (especially Clark).

Clodette and her various crew are thorough, particular in their work, honest, and reliable. And, most importantly, they stand behind their work and their products if something needs addressing in the future.

I recently noticed some edge paint issues on my front-door sidelights. Clodette was immediately there to address the matter, contact the manufacturer, and had new replacements manufactured and installed. It was a quality job, fully covered under warranty, and really underscores Clodette’s commitment to the true meaning of “customer service.”

If there were ten stars I would have given a ten star review! I can not say enough great things about this company. Punctuality, workmanship, professionalism, and customer service were all above and beyond my expectations. I had french doors put in to replace my old sliding doors and they are beautiful. I wanted something fixed and there were no issues with Clark who was one of the men who installed our doors to come out right away when asked. Everything was cleaned up nicely and installed perfectly! Clodette was really nice to talk to and the price was decent.
