I have purchased vinyl retrofit windows a handful of times during the process of remodeling some homes that I’ve purchased. My most recent experience was with Ameristar and it was also my first experience with this company. This is usually one of the bigger cost items but it also has an incredible effect on the appearance of your home both inside and out. Although Ameristar was t the least expensive option, their pricing was competitive and the product quite a bit superior in my opinion. Larry was a great point of contact and the install crew was very thorough and cleaned up pretty well. Im very happy I made the switch to Ameristar I recommend the company to any homeowner or investor.
After some research, I chose Ameristar Windows for all of the reasons they promised such as custom screens, fast 3 weeks turnaround, quality materials and professional in-house installation. Price was very competitive as well. I’m very happy with the product. It’s a great investment. The HVAC is rarely running including at night.The temp in the house keeps pretty constant. I highly recommend this company bc they delivered everything they promised. I also appreciated the professionalism of everyone involved from the sales person Larry, to customer service, and, finally, to the professional installers.
As a retired Licensed Contractor myself i scrutinize all aspects to find a good company, Larry answered all my questions the way a good company rep should, Martha in the office is very dedicated in helping the Customers. Thank you Conor & the Ameristar team you guys are amazing! We are currently remodeling our kitchen and wanted to replace our kitchen window and patio sliding door. I explained to Conor I wanted to redesign our kitchen and showed him our renderings. Conor made the suggestion to move our patio door further away from our kitchen to be able to expand our kitchen. That was something I nor my designer never even thought about! I promise you will not find a better price, workmanship or customer service in the IE. Anderson quoted us an insane amount, almost as much as our kitchen Reno. Lastly, Ameristar manufactures all their windows and doors here locally so no long wait times or Tariffs!!!
Professional from the getgo, from the initial consultation to the final install. The crews were respectful of my home and ensured the "boss" was happy before they left. Followed up to make sure any concerns were immediately taken care of. I only wonder why I didnt use them sooner.
